This is BS but Phet shouldn't pull out if theirs 1 mill on the line. That makes me question if their really is 1 mill on the line...
 
Its probably one million worth of shares in one fc which are actually worth 842 dollars. ha ha
 
With Yod out, Petro probably has this tournament in the bag now. Maybe there will be another upset though, who knows

Forgot about the GOAT now standing in his way lol. After the Petch fight, I have a bad taste in my mouth regarding Petro; I'm rooting for Jo to win the same way Ristie did so no one can whine this time

I do mind the NC.

Not only it's the referee's job during the fight to warn if a fighter is clinching for too long, or throwing too many strikes in the clinch or tripping/throwing, but on top of that Petch didn't do any of that. He only clinched for a couple of seconds each time, only threw 1 strike each time, and didn't attempt to trip or throw which he could easily have done.

It just looks to me that Petrosyan and his team went crying and putting pressure on the One FC officials, probably threatening not to fight for them again, and One FC knows they'll draw more viewers if Petrosyan is still in the tournament.

Petch didn't break any rules and the referee did his job, and as someone who's unbiased towards either fighter I'll still say this is pure bullshit.

Petchyindee said that they signed up to the tournament before even knowing there would be 1 million dollars cash prize (32 million baht), they only found out a few days before the event. They're also saying they signed up to try and win the competition regardless of the prize, but that considering that when they win the decision gets overturned later then there's no point fighting if they're meant to lose anyway. I do understand them in a way.

I just hope that Smonkin' Jo or Samy Sana knock Petrosyan clean out in this tournament. This is really the best possible outcome here. The thought of potentially seeing Petrosyan lifting that One FC tournament cup + 1 million dollar check in the air in victory after this scandal makes me slightly sick.

Very much pleasant to see the salt by some users like it came out of nowhere and with no ground under it . I would be salty if fighter who clearly won fight got robbed but there is no categories in kickboxing where Phetmorakot surpassed Petrosyan but opposite after realising that he can't deal in kickboxing MT strategy shall work . Now imagine everyone emulating this shit in every kickboxing fight when fighter can not KICKBOX . Ridiculous .
Actually the hillarious thing is Phetmorakot declining the fight with Petrosyan by claiming he can not win under ONE rules and leaving the 1mil$ prize pool tournament lol .

People were salty that Petrosyan didn't get the win, now some other people are salty about the NC. Don't act like only muay thai fans or petmorrakot fans are salty. You are the salty biased one here with your passive aggressive posts
 
ONE just really wanted Petro/Yod to win. No point paying out 1mil for any of the other guys.
 
Overturning a decision just like that would be pretty fucked up if ONE hadn't done it before. it seems that this promotion can do anything at the discretion of its boss and the decision that we see after the fight is a mere formality.

if Chatri is in a bad mood or if he likes one of the fighters more or if he is friendly with their management then he can just change the decision to whatever he feels like. just when I was starting to take ONE seriously I am reminded that they lean more towards being a big, shady money laundering machine than a legit sports organization.

I will tip my hat to all the Petro fans crying post fight here though. you guys seem to know something that I don't. I was going by common sense and from what I heard in the broadcast - ONE kickboxing rules allow 3 seconds clinch. Whether Petmorakot clinched more than that or not (it seems that he didn't) the ref never warned him. But those guys were aware of some outstanding foul play occuring during the fight that warrants overturning a decision and making a fool of everybody who watched a fight that was now "erased" from history.
 
Screw one fc. They have got to be the shadiest organization in combat sports right now. They lie and claim no weight cutting is happening and completely close off the weight ins so no one knows what the hell is going on. They keep going on about their great ethics and making heroes all the while meddling with any result they do not like. I hope petchyindee pulls all of their fighters and Jitmuangnon does too leaving only chatri with his personal trainers for one's kb and mt fights
 
Hmmm, as much as I thought Petro won, I don't think overturning the fight is the answer. If they don't like the clinch rule, then change it for next time. What is with this 'overturning the results' deal?? There have been plenty of top fighters in the sport who don't whine and get decisions overturned because they should not have been on the losing end. Pretty much every top fighter. Heck, I thought Petro should have clearly lost to Buakaw, and then he showed a bit of unsportsmanlike conduct after the fight was declared a draw. He got the benefit of the doubt. Not to mention other fights Buakaw clearly didn't get the benefit of the doubt both in K1 and otherwise.... But no decisions were overturned....the rules kept changing...etc. I'm wondering if the other Thai fighters in the competition support this.

If it wasn't outright highway robbery, you chalk it up to experience and keep at it until you get the clear win next time, instead of making another fighter have to suffer worse for something obviously not his fault.

If the refs or judges were at fault, do something about that then. Why penalize innocent fighters?
