if Chatri is in a bad mood or if he likes one of the fighters more or if he is friendly with their management then he can just change the decision to whatever he feels like. just when I was starting to take ONE seriously I am reminded that they lean more towards being a big, shady money laundering machine than a legit sports organization.

While ago think they banned suplexes, didn't tell the fighters and some dude lost by dq. They do some odd shit at times.

Screw one fc. They have got to be the shadiest organization in combat sports right now. They lie and claim no weight cutting is happening and completely close off the weight ins so no one knows what the hell is going on.

Yeah...the weigh-in rules definitely don't seem to apply to some fighters, at least when it's "their" fighters.

He actually did alright in the first fight. I dont know who will benefit more from a rematch but I'm interested to see how he adjusts. Heard he's been sparring with some of Elon Musks androids that have been programmed to fight like petrosyan. Think that's why hes been looking so good recently. He'll find all the footage of his upcoming opponents on Youtube and download them to an android which duplicates the style perfectly.

Very much pleasant to see the salt by some users like it came out of nowhere and with no ground under it . I would be salty if fighter who clearly won fight got robbed but there is no categories in kickboxing where Phetmorakot surpassed Petrosyan but opposite after realising that he can't deal in kickboxing MT strategy shall work . Actually the hillarious thing is Phetmorakot declining the fight with Petrosyan by claiming he can not win under ONE rules and leaving the 1mil$ prize pool tournament lol .

You clearly underestimate how difficult it is to do however much you like it or not. That's the worst part about it. Both the referee and the fighter did their jobs within the rules. Phetmorakot didn't abuse the clinch more than 3 seconds, didn't throw more than 1 strike at a time and didn't trip or throw him. And the referee separated them after the 3 seconds every time.

I was actually really getting into One FC and really enjoying their cards, but this really makes me not care about it as much now. I just hope Petrosyan doesn't win the whole thing. I'm really praying for a KO from Smokin' Jo or from Samy Sana on Petrosyan. Please make it happen.

yeah I just rewatched with the clinch time count and if anything the ref prevented Petmorakot from legally working the three seconds in the clinch. He did warn Petmorakot twice in the beginning of the second round which I didn't remember (which obviously doesn't change anything).

This was one of the smartest performances we've seen in kickboxing recently with Petmorakot being completely dominated in the first round and managing to turn the fight around in the second. the third round was a mess and neither Petrosyan was scoring with punches or Petmorakot with the knees. it was effectively a draw.

Hmmm, as much as I thought Petro won, I don't think overturning the fight is the answer. If they don't like the clinch rule, then change it for next time. What is with this 'overturning the results' deal?? There have been plenty of top fighters in the sport who don't whine and get decisions overturned because they should not have been on the losing end. Pretty much every top fighter. Heck, I thought Petro should have clearly lost to Buakaw, and then he showed a bit of unsportsmanlike conduct after the fight was declared a draw. He got the benefit of the doubt. Not to mention other fights Buakaw clearly didn't get the benefit of the doubt both in K1 and otherwise.... But no decisions were overturned....the rules kept changing...etc. I'm wondering if the other Thai fighters in the competition support this.

If it wasn't outright highway robbery, you chalk it up to experience and keep at it until you get the clear win next time, instead of making another fighter have to suffer worse for something obviously not his fault.

If the refs or judges were at fault, do something about that then. Why penalize innocent fighters?

World class and HW don't go hand in hand in KB in this day and age. Only Rico could be called world class at this stage to be honest. Otherwise if you go by the strict definition of world class, pretty much any heavyweight kickboxer is world class, all 20 of them...

Did the Badr fight get officially signed yet? I know that was a sticking point for Rico signing a new contract.
