They like North Korea have the right to ban any company from doing business in their country for any reason they see fit.

If I believe it's justified is up to me as with any conservative or liberal.

One is over spying and the other is because they don't like what they are allowed to say. So I see a difference.

He is kind of correct though, the US gave Tik Tok a chance to be bought by an American company, they also point out that China itself bans Tik Tok.

The Brazil one is because a judge got into a fight with Elon Musk.

Yeah I've watched this rule play out on sherdog. It makes you wrong about 70% of the time because politicians only lie about 30% of the time (it's higher with trump) or else they would lose all credibility with reasonable people.

Life isn't a magic 8 Ball. You don't become more accurate by just deciding to never ever trust the government. You just become ignorant in a different direction.

People trusting in politicians is about as wise a decision as sheep trusting in wolves. Although I've a damn sight more respect for Canis Lupas than any politician. :rolleyes:

The Brazil one is because Eloy refused to select legal representation concerning the case. That was all he had to do to stop the actual block. Legal representation to even handle the court cases about the accounts in-question.

X has been suspended in plenty of Countries. When Russia suspended it Musk restored the Kremlin's account. And I dont think that even worked. Near as I can tell it's still banned there. You dont see Eloy condemning Putin over it. China suspended them to, but of course he does business there with Tesla so no biggie. F those citizens

Doesn't mater is the data is public, it's not widely known info and it's still a security issue. It is essentially doxing someone's location as they travel.

Doxing is also often just revealing public information.

TikTok is not being banned. They're just forcing them to divest from CCP controlled ownership.

And TikTok is 100% a security threat and not only a right wing issue. It got wide bi-partisan support.
