Opinion On Behalf Of Canadians...

lol @ this dumb bullshit. Again.

He doesn't know because it's not really up to him.
Not only that, he's already stepped down - he's not staying in power. They're picking his replacement on Sunday, I believe.

I'm no fan of Trudeau's, but either Trump is a moron, or he thinks his supporters are. Probably both.

So a meme started threats of invasion and a trade war? <36> trump shouldn't be such a snowflake..
Trump is a snowflake though, and he's petty. Similar to an immature child and now he's the leader of the strongest nation on Earth.

It's easy to say what he shouldn't be but that's ignoring what he actually is.

Even funnier, he leads a minority government. Once prorogation ends, and there are certainly legal mechanisms to ensure it does before long, it will be up to the other parties whether there is an election call not--unless the US starts a war with us before that, maybe... but even then Trudeau won't be leader anymore.

Unless the opposition forces an election, the Liberal party has every right and every incentive to delay calling an election until October (when it's legally mandated) so it's ridiculously dumb to suggest "he's doing "this" to hold on to power...."

Traditionally, an election is called upon the party-in-power's election of a new leader (For example John Turner and Kim Campbell) so that the new leader has a mandate from the people to be prime minister. But, strictly following the rules, an election can be called by:
1) The acting prime minister (Trudeau) at any time
2) Waiting until the end of the term (October in Trudeau's case)
3) A vote of no confidence in the government (Not possible until at least end of March because Trudeau prorogued Parliament)

Trudeau has control over all three of these options (He can avoid the no confidence vote by extending prorogation all the way to October if he wants to). But Trudeau is under no obligation to communicate his plans.

He's also under no obligation to do only what his opposition wants him to do.

“He was unable to tell me when the Canadian Election is taking place, which made me curious, like, what's going on here? I then realized he is trying to use this issue to stay in power.”

Are Trump and I in agreement?

I know our proud MAGAnadian, @HereticBD is in agreement. Trudy isn't doing anything about the fentanyl coming across our border because he wants to use this crisis to stay in power

I can't believe they're doing that lol

Trump: "I am so abhorrent I am making my political rival (read: international ally) bigly popular - this is all HIS fault!"

Trump should be celebrated as the sole saviour of the Liberal Party of Canada.
