I think that the sanctions are benefiting the Liberals and that ending the sanctions will help the Liberals more only if it looks like Trump was defeated rather than surrendered to.

The Liberals looked like the bad guys against the Freedom Convoy because it was the Freedom Convoy that flew the Canadian flag; now the Liberals can fly the Canadian flag against the external threat of America.
