O'Malley by Knockout

His coach just needs to shout “Merab, you gotta go!”

Helen Keller could've countered that telegraphed and overextended punch

His coach on the embedded said that they are going with a new wrestling approach in this fight 🤔

They think that going for the KO is what cost Sean the first fight 🤔
NCAA O'Malley by 50-43 across the board laynpray baby Merab is fookt

If they fight 100 times O'malley surely knocks him out a few times at least
Definitely..

He landed a cpl of good knees, iirc. Just one of those can end a fight.

And look for him to score with that stabbing front kick to the body, much earlier than round 5. He had real success with that. He hurt Merab with that. And it’s a good way to maintain distance.

I’m going with Merab, by decision.

But, O’Malley has a couple paths to victory.

I will feel a kinship with the few here who will speak about how like me, they once disliked O'Malley but have slowly grown to like him in the aftermath and lead up to this fight.

now officially an unapologetic fan of his.

Kind of rooting for Sean but i think he gets ud Again then sherdawg will have another meltdown about how boring merab is.

It’s Sean’s fight to win. He hasn’t done anything to deserve the rematch (other than avoid Sandhagen) and I think Merab choosing to fight Sean again (if this was his choice) is a bit of a cherry pick.

Sean also had success with body kicks at the end of the last fight. And I think Merab is weak downstairs because 1) I don’t think I’ve seen O’Malley hurt someone to the body and 2) no one has ever really tried to attack Merab there.

Yeah, he's a very slick striker. I don't like really much about him outside the cage but he gets underrated because of his look and persona.
Appropriately rated because of his 1 dimensional MMA game. If anything overrated because he never earned a title shot on merit but got one anyway.

Merab can be tagged, and he's older. But this is a peak "puncher's chance" fight. Because this fight is fairly close to the last one, we know O'Malley isn't going to have drastically better TDD. We know Merab isn't going to have drastically slowed down (especially considering what he did to Umar in the meantime).

Merab by easier decision this time.

Suga always has the punchers chance, but Merab is more well rounded & made it look easy in their first bout. Unless Suga has gotten tremendously better at wrestling & grappling, I see the rematch going much like their first fight.

I know he was soundly beaten first time out...

But I think he's special - skills-wise, and mindset wise.
I think he has the resolve and ability to train harder, smarter and come back and do it.

I shall be placing a cheeky £50 (for £162 return whew!) on O'Malley for a straight win (as obviousliy Merab has never been knocked out, and can't remember seeing him seriously wobbled?, so it's not a given, but I think Sean will piece him up consistently) - even though I titled this by knockout / I suspect so, but...

Actually leme check the odds for O'Malley knockout...

Oh sheesh, nearly 5:1, aiyt ima have to place a lil extra £10-20 on the KO too.

Using some of my winnings from the Fabio Wardley knockout the night prior of course.
Here.
In!

I don't gamble but if I did...

People are blinded by his appearence and demeanour.

He's a phenomenal striker and intelligent.
It's still a fight - could go either way, of course, but I agree with your assessment.

Very high level fight. JDM made the blue print to beat these gamers

If he was a phenomenal striker he'd fight in boxing

He's decent for sure but a bit over rated on that front

Phenomenal strikers should fight in boxing?
I'm sure he'd love to but I don't think that UFC want that.

He is a phenomenal striker.
As are many other MMA fighters.
Not boxing doesn't define it.

I bet on O'Malley the first time, stupid bastard cost me a 9 leg parlay

He fought scared as hell, then him and his team came up with a million excuses except the ones that matter. You didn't lose because of media appearances, masturbation, or hair dye.

His only winning g strategy is throwing power shots and NOT fighting gvin fear of td. Merab takes you down but not best at keeping you there. Just accept your goung to have to spend alot of time getting up just try and clock him when standing. I see it 85/15 Merab as far as chsnce of winning
Omalley has his work cutout for him it's been a year since his last fight, I can't imagine he's improved enough, but merab can get old at any moment
