Oktoberfest Thread-Willkommen

I did hear Germany has sprinkled some spice at the festival in recent years.

Never went to NYC but my girl did several times and loves it. Munich is very nice, especially if you have some money to spend, which I guess you have.

I'm also biased growing up in germany. I'm much more forgiving in other countries about local habits etc. Starting with not understanding mostly for instance in italy, france etc. and carrying a different more open mindset.

I'm also not big into spectacles with thousands of people especially if they are about getting shitfaced drunk and scream nonsense.

I am having an Oktoberfest Party at my house to combat all the Halloween ones. Got a few mini Kegs--Warsteiner, Hoffbrau, Spaten...and some Sam Adams Oktober and Pumpkins for the chicks. Gonna do Pretzels, Schnitzel, Brats, and Sliders.
Last weekend I won a Stein holding contest. 1 litre stein filled with Hoffbrau. I was shocked I won, but since I have been training my whole life, I was proud. My brother was 3rd.

I went to Bevmo to get some more Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin Ales but they were out so I got the Elysian variety pack instead, I really loved one of them and another tasted like cigarette tobacco, cant remember which is which though

The recent videos making the rounds are intriguing. I don’t know why I never really thought about all of the crazy that goes on behind the pictures everyone is used to seeing.

had no idea how many drunken handjobs are going on in full public view without a care in the world.

That does tend to happen everywhere when massive amounts of Alcohol are being swigged down. We have a Sanata Con every year that the city is trying to shut down. 100s of drunk Santas puking and fighting in the streets. Its hysterical. Although they wouldn't think of shutting down the cultural parades where people are stabbed and shot lmao.

That atleast has some comedic quality. Teenagers passing out in bavarian costumes lying in their puke just reminds me of my prom.
I puked 3 times and made out with some drunk chick after.

I missed those parties by about 2 years back my college days.

when I was getting out, the big sex parties with girls gone wild was just hitting the scene.

and I’m okay with that…
