The problem with PD is that it might not come out before I'm 50. MS has really squandered their rights to the Rare titles since the original 360 back in '06. Microsoft has acquired so many talented teams with great games in their catalog, only to squander the talent or fire people. Depressing. Before MS bought them, Rare was an all time developer. Donkey Kong, Killer Instinct, Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, Conker, etc.

Best Showcase they've had the past two gens. I was shocked at how much they showed. I'm not one of those brand loyalists. I've had both consoles since NES and Sega Master System, lol.

I'm even happier that most of this is going to Game Pass. Between MMA, Beer and gaming, I'm going broke. I need a reprieve, lol.

I’ve been a big doubter over how financially sound the GP model is, but now we know they’re willing to put games on PS it seems more viable.

If games don’t move the GP needle they can throw it over and folks will buy it.

PS gamers will lol that they’re getting Xbox games, Xbox gamers will lol at paying 70 bucks while they get it on GP.

It’s actually a pretty genius move tbh.

The only games made by a studio they own (or publish) they announced that will be on PS is DOOM & Diablo IV, and every previous installment in those franchises were already multiplat. This merely confirmed they weren't taking them exclusive. COD had to be multiplat per the terms of the 10-year contract they signed with Sony due to the ridiculous UK antitrust case against their acquisition of Activision-Blizzard. Sea of Thieves is on the GAAS model and was already expanded to PS.

Indiana Jones, Gears of War, Avowed, Flight Simulator 2024, STALKER 2, Age of Mythology Retold, Fable, Perfect Dark, South of Midnight, Shattered Space, and State of Decay 3 are all staying PC/Xbox exclusive. Atomfall, Mixtape, Winter Burrow, and Fragpunk were third party exclusives announced (at least for now).

Do you have a source for that? Phil just announced more Xbox games are on the way and that they are done with "slimy" exclusivity. He's acting like he's the good guy here but really he's forced to do this because GamePass isn't profitable. You seem to be in denial that more are on the way when the heads of Microsoft are literally telling you the opposite.

At the very least they should bring back the limited edition colors that older consoles used to release in the second half of their lifecycle.
