I hate exclusives but I think Sony needs a dose of reality. It's fucked up that Xbox is so willing to give players backward compatibility, forward compatibility with controllers, better service for live, gamepass, cross gen, cross play with Nintendo, smart delivery etc whilst Sony is honey dicking us.

That’s like arguing for keeping the old IROC Camaro and saying it’s backwards and forwards compatible with all the new and old carburetors, drum brakes and 4 speed automatics.........and it’s got more power and new stripes for this year !

Naw, I’ll take the BMW with its fuel injection, discs and DSG transmission and yes, lesser power, but better overall driver's experience.

It's similar to Lost Legacy which was also a stand alone game. You could beat LL in about 8-10 hours. So about as long as it takes to beat RE7.

People want awesome launch titles but no one really expects them. Especially with Sony they've never been great at launch. It's their history of releasing top quality games throughout the gen that people rely on.

I personally think the Miles Morales release is an awesome launch title though. I love the last Spiderman game it was the first and only game I've ever platinumed.

I think Godfall and Deathloop have potentials along with SpiderMan as great exclusive launch titles. My Destiny 2 squad (down to 3 total players now) are talking about running Godfall together. But since its coming to the PC we may take that opt for that instead. Although playing on PS5 would harken back to our hardcore Destiny 1 days.

This PS5 launch title lineup is one of the better ones I think.

Bih please. Competition is good. I am a proud ps4 owner and I have zero regrets. Persona 5 and ratchet and clank aren't available on Xbox but still Sony is dominant now and as such have become increasingly anti consumer. For instance when I had a ps plus subscription, the free games were always utter shit. Xbox, on the other hand, was more generous. In addition to that, exclusives never decrease in price. Last of us (which I turned out to actually hate), went full price three years into its shelf life. Also how can xbox one controllers work on a series x but Sony couldn't find a way to make dual shock fully compatible? Ps controllers are expensive af. Xbox has gamepass and backward compatibility all the way to first gen.

In fact Sony was so dead set on excluding backward compatibility that they only added it in response to xbox. I mean it's laughable how they initially said "select ps4 games" and now they're saying all ps4 games will run. This wasn't out of altruism, this was retaliation. Look man brand loyalty is dumb. I say go to the most consumer friendly. Exclusives are nice but apart from persona I don't give a shit about them. Horizon is cool. As are ratchet, ghosts probably and persona. Fuck God of war, last of us and uncharted. They ain't shit imo. Sony exclusives are just glossy, glamorous, "cinematic" experiences with wack gameplay. Oh and fuck them for canning infamous. Ultimately I'll stick with Sony and buy a ps5. I don't like taking risks. But I'll also build a pc and get my "Xbox" gaming done that way. I like options. Monopolies are bad. Competition is good. Also don't sleep on Xbox. Obsidian, rare etc all those studios are dope.

Remember. Love Sony and Nintendo but don't sleep on the competition. Very important. I hated Sony up until last gen then left Xbox when they were on that bullshit.
