Leaving the Service soon

It's still worth the price, considering all that's on there, but these past few months of new arrivals have been pretty pathetic. You used to always get at least one or two older AAA games, but now it's mostly indie shit.

So for an extra dollar a month, you can get access to all the games. Who the fuck would get a "Core" subscription, then? The difference in plans is so drastic. Maybe put that shit down to $4.99 per month? That seems more appropriate.

Leaving the Service soon

The Ascent is leaving? Glad I picked it up on PS5 so I could play coop with a buddy. I really like that game but haven’t even come close to beating it as my friend never wants to play it. When I first played it on Game Pass on Series X two years ago I really enjoyed it as I kind of felt like it was a spiritual successor in some ways to one of my favourite games in the mid-90s, Crusader No Remorse. Would highly recommend it to any Game Pass subscribers to check it out while there’s still time.

What are your thoughts on the Ascent? Fun? Worth the time?

That's the whole point, right? They don't want anyone to get a Core subscription. They want millions of people to say, "Wow, I get all that for just $1?" and switch to the Console tier. I am just wondering how long it will be until they stop offering Core.

Microsoft has created a pizza-scented Xbox controller

d38AcAA.jpeg

I’m fairly sure most Xbox controllers give off a bit of a sweaty pong after hours of gaming, but Microsoft has now created one that’s supposed to smell like pizza from the get-go. The “world’s first ever pizza-scented controller” is part of a marketing effort for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie.

Microsoft has designed custom TMNT Xbox controllers that have a scent diffuser strapped to the back in the shape of a slice of pizza. There are four variations in total, and thankfully, they’re just part of a sweepstakes giveaway, so we won’t be seeing or sniffing these controllers everywhere. If you want to try and win a pizza-scented controller, you’ll need to enter by retweeting a post on the Xbox Game Pass Twitter (or X) account. All the details for this Xbox giveaway are right here.

No-one, ever: "I want my controller to smell like a teenage boy's bedroom."
Microsoft: "I got you fam."

I can make my controller smell like pizza and doritos without entering a contest

I have no idea what this is about.

Well, I love my Elite 2 controller but...

The rubber grips became unglued and I've had to take a xacto-knife to the peeled parts. It's still a great controller but I don't think I'll be paying for another one unless it goes on a deep sale/discount.

If Xbox is going to release a new controller, then I want something like this.

And it doesn't need to smell like a teenager's bedroom full of pizza either.

I used to have the "Bom Chicka Wah-Wah's" as a background on my 360. I want it back! :)
Yes, it was an official release from Microsoft when they teamed with Axe body spray.
