Regarding safe spaces, well safe spaces are ridiculous and unneccessary. Maybe learn to articulate your position better so you don't have to remove yourself from interactions with people that challenge you on it.

That's the only danger pro safe space people are in, the danger of being called lazy or hypocritical.

The logical/skeptical/reasonable person's safe space is everywhere around them. You think Christopher Hitchens, Neil DeGrasse Tyson or Sam Harris need a safe space? No, they're intellectual black belts. They can go anywhere and converse with anyone.
