Btw, Rins fight with Sara still not available anywhere?

Only bits and pieces of it so far. Normally it would have been out by now. It would be nice to see it pop up soon.

In my rankings I have Rin at #17 but I cover more fighters than anyone else and move them up and down faster than most until certain, visible, fighters get the important push to get them into the top rankings.

I have been considering doing a brief looking over a few fighters to decide whether Rin ought to be further up than #17, as I feel having her around 10-15 is a somewhat legit place to put her.

Her important, recent, wins are against fighters on slides though. I tend to reduce the impact of a win off of someone who is 0-2, (and) then 0-3, so the impact on going up the rankings is a bit reduced.

Whatever else I think Nakai is a legit challenger to Tate and actually has a solid shot at winning the fight. Nakai just needs to get top control on Tate and control the fight from there, whether she can finish is another question.

Reality Fighting - June 6, 2014, Andria Wawro vs. Jessy Miele (at Featherweight)

I have to add this:

7-13 145? Jessy Miele (0-1-0) US vs. TBD at Premier FC 16 (Getting back in there.)

a performance couldn't go much smoother. wow.

Agreed. Wawro is impressive in that fight.

Not really the best argument. You could just as easily argue you take peds in the minors because there is less testing and easier to get away with, while you are trying to build a physique that will propel you to the majors. It's not like the muscle completely disappears if you stop taking AAS.
Not saying that's what happened though, she is short and stocky, and it's easier to look hulking then.

But Rin isn`t like a minor league prospect who had always planned on jumping up to the majors. Let`s face it: we are still in shock she has joined the UFC...and even after the Tate fight, we we still be saying, "Nakai has never fought outside of Japan". I still can`t believe Rin has agreed to fight outside of Pancrase. Furthermore: Japanese athletes have (overall) pretty clean records regarding PEDs; look at the Olympics, baseball, etc. [I can`t believe I`m defending Rin Nakai] I just don`t think she has ever taken anything. I would be more shocked if Rin tested positive for a banned substance than Rousey or Mcmann...and I wouldn`t be that shocked if Gadelha tested positive for some PED, if I`m honest.

P.S. Enjoy your retirement, Rosi. You were a joy to watch in the cage and you will always be a warrior, respected by your peers and the fans.

I know she has like three better paying careers she could easily embark on from this point, but who thinks Rosi would be an awesome MMA coach/trainer? I do.

It's all happening Lol

First, best wishes to Rosi on her retirement, a genuine ambassador and pioneer of WMMA, I agreee with Jari that she could almost certainly make for a great MMA coach/trainer, no slouch as a commentator either

Really surprised and delighted to see Rin making it to the UFC, as to her chances against Miesha.. well i think it's fair to say that Rin is probably very strong comparatively, and I know that Miesha has probably spent more time training to defend the arm bar than has anyone else in the history of MMA

Still, looking forward to it a lot

As to Wawro... is she any relation to Rothenhausler ?

Not to my knowledge. I've checked her out several times and have never seen a link between the two of them.

Wawro, as far as I know, was born and raised on the East Coast while Rothenhausler is from out West, Nevada. Living in California now.

Here are some old interviews with Wawro, back when she was known as "Caplan".

She is also looking for support in getting a fight on any upcoming Invicta cards.

I need more people to tell Invicta Fighting Championships that they want to see me on their next card! Thanx to my fans for the support!

~ What match ups would you like to see on Invicta?

Interview: Elaine Albuquerque
By Marcio Reginatto on June 19, 2014

Elaine-Albuquerque-Iron-Fight-1-620x400.jpg

How did it feel to win the Iron Fight and win such an experienced fighter Carina Damm?

Elaine Albuquerque : I "wanted" to Carina Damm a long time, winning is always good but someone earning as it is much better for the story that she has within the MMA, the fact that she train in the U.S. and have the support she has also appreciated very much my victory. It takes a lot more than that to be a champion. It was exciting to win the Iron practically inside her house with a good portion of the audience cheering for me, because it's Esp

I check out YouTube every once in a while to see if I can find one of Albu's MMA smokers from Thailand, this one is an ammy.

BBQ Beatdown 57: Sunna Davidsdotir (Iceland) vs. Helen Harper (England)

I picked this one due to Harper trying out for TUF 20.

I am just waiting for them to announce Albu vs. VanZant. That should be good for a 50 page thread.
