I found that a while ago and posted it, but it might have been a short clip rather then the whole of it, but it is good to see it again anyways with her supposed to have fought already. I don't know what happened or if it happened for that matter.

Should be a great weekend for Women's MMA. There are numerous fights I am interesting in seeing.

Great news. Thanks. More information on all of these and other fighters would be very welcome.

I don't know if you will come back and check this out but I wanted to ask a question and see if you can help get to the bottom of an answer.

I was looking for Crisano's fight against Zambonini to see what happened in it and to learn the result of it. I was surprised to find out how it ended, with the referee called a DQ on Crisano for no real reason. I posted the video and made some comments in different places.

I also saw several different "official" results for that fight from a Decision win to a TKO reported. Eventually I heard it was a No Contest but when I double check Crisano's and Zambonini's fight finder pages I see Zambonini listed as winning the fight by DQ on both Sherdog's and Tapology's sites.

I know that Crisano's camp said that the DQ had been overturned by the promotion so I was hoping to get all of the above cleared up one way or another. Perhaps in talking to Crisano you can help get this business squared away. I know that Wombat Sports currently has that fight listed as No Contest and they were in communication with Crisano's camp over this topic and they also wrote up a brief article on it.

Whatever is the case I would like to hear the real official word on what has become of this fight.

I don't understand why people complain so much about women and their cornrows.

This is what was mentioned this morning about it. I provided the (doesn't) as it seems to be what MarQ was going for, otherwise it obviates the first statement.

once she got the mount (slick transition to mount!) it was just cive surviving. very nice performance by karolina and a sweet armbar finish.

Been waiting for the Kowalkiewicz and Sugiyama fight for months now! I'm definitely high on Karolina and think she will be a serious contender for the vacant Strawweight belt in Invicta.

Let's go Shiyan! That would totally make my weekend, if not my month if she were victorious!! This could be the stepping stone Shizuka Sugiyama needs to fight in the states and become a contender in her own right.

Most of the fights on DEEP JEWELS were pretty much one sided with the winning fighters pretty much dominating most of the fight until the finishes.

Saori Ishioka vs. SARAMI was a FOTN. Both girls traded submission attempts with Ishioka coming very close of subbing SARAMI various times throughout the round before pulling off the armbar.

Damn, that was a slick armbar.

Whenever Invicta decides they want to start putting on shows again Kowalkiewicz is a legit contender at Strawweight.

cive came out to madonna's "la isla bonita" (maybe a first in mma :icon_chee )

karolina came out to the black keys' "i got mine" good tune. :wink:
