Sometimes I get a white box instead of video but with a refresh the video turns up. That doesn't happen very often but it does every six to eight weeks.

Yeah I read it too and found that video ... has an extensive background in KM and she's an instructor, KM is a militar self-defense system and integrated just some elements of the typical grappling and striking u can c in modern MMA ... but Karolina is well rounded, hope she'll fight again soon.

Frankly I would like to c her first in Invicta ... the IFC div has a bit of depth even now with Kankanpaa, Inoue, Livinha, Zoila, LVP, Cummins, Jedrzejczyk, Grasso, ...

There was a recent interview with Julie Kedzie saying the usual "big things are afoot" lines. I think I saw Shannon Knapp sayiing something about "i's being dotted and t's being crossed" which I find kind of worrying, as that infers nothings been signed yet, when she said they were on the verge of signing something 3 months ago.
I'm of the mind they just need to take whatever offer they get at this point and hope for the best. Invicta is not in a postion of strength.

Agreed. I have echoed similar sentiments recently.
Kowalkiewicz and Kankampaa won, as expected. NIce finishes. Jasminka looked way out of her league when she fought Bec Rawlings. I kind of expected the same in this bout.
Interesting results from DEEP Jewels. Takayo Hashi is just a tough woman. She always seems to "hang in there" in fights and I`ve only ever seen her overmatched (and beat down) once - vs. Cat. I think there was high hopes and great expectations for Shizuka Sugiyama to be kind of the new face of Japanese women`s MMA. Japan has produced a lot of great straw weights and atom weights, but there hasn`t been anybody in the heavier weight classes to really stand out in a while (since the days of Megumi - the original Megumi - Yabushita and Hitomi Akano). I guess you could count Rin, but she seems bound and determined to stay local. I was hoping...or maybe I should say, I`m still hoping Shizuka will be that fighter. I hope she learns from this loss, improves, and eventually fights overseas...carrying the banner for a new generation of women`s MMA in Japan.

so basically the ref thought she tapped but she didn't? I thought at first that stoppage was a little too fast. Seems pretty amateurish mistake by ref she only touched opponent's leg once and didn't even lift her hand off yet, how can you say something like that is tapping and not just hitting/touching. So I guess despite the mistakes named ref makes comparing to these refs they are still at a different level.

What a terrible stoppage
From what I have gathered Invicta has been waiting for their network partner to allow them to make an announcement for several weeks now. Not everything was entirely worked out but that is supposed to be changing or has changed so we will get good news soon. (Of course that has been the story for three-four weeks now, nothing actually new about that.)
I doubt the announcement would only be from that internet radio show but it could figure into it to a degree, that is impossible to say until they actually make the announcement. Knapp might be able to set the stage or suggest when that news will come out. (No doubt "soon" as they have been saying ...)
They had wanted to hold a show in June but the rumor now suggests July due to the holding off the announcement from earlier this month.
