Markos didn't adjust effectively

The summary of every Markos loss ever.

Randa just gets fixated on one idea and then pursues it wherever it takes her, good or bad.

I don't understand Portuguese but for those who do the program is on you tube

man, that is horrible. reminds me of Andrea Lee. those fighter-coach romantic relationships can be dangerous

I'm not that happy they booked Carla vs Grasso but everyone called for it and I couldn't think of a logical other fight for them to book for Grasso to advance her after winning vs Canrolina.
Plus despite my below whining that follows it is a good and interesting match.

For Grasso's perspective, she is not far from removed from a very one sided fight vs Suarez, sure she'll be improving but maybe they could have found a softer threat to sample her progress than the 2nd best wrassler in the div.

Personally I'd preferred Grasso vs someone like Hill, or Casey, both of whom are reasonable tests she should pass but a challenge; but they are lower ranked and the UFC probably want her to move upwards.
That leaves Calvillo as the other choice, and it'd have been a decent one, worse takedowns but deadlier subs than Carla, seems like a suitable choice.

Meanwhile I'd rather have seen Carla vs Michelle Wateringcan, Canrolina Kowalacan, Candria Gadelha, or Tecia Torres (....I couldn't find a can pun). All good bouts.

Instead we get Bae Death Match. Nooooo :(

Carla bless

Come on Tecan Torres was right there!
But yeah the Claudia rematch is the most exciting thing the ufc could do with either.

It's like US WMMA week:
Thursday PLF,
Kayla vs Frier, Kayla sub
Sarah vs Samad, Sarah sub
Bobbi Jo vs Pacheco, Bobbi dec
Fabian vs charneski, Fabian dec
How does PLF break ties if my picks are right 4-5 be Fabian & Samad with 3 each?
Friday Bellator
Budd vs Rubin, Budd tko
Williams vs Velasquez, I like Williams for the upset
Smith vs Kavanagh, Smith wins a brawl
Ellen vs kallionidou, Ellen just cause I've seen her fight
Blencowe vs Bell, Blencowe dominant victory

Saturday ufc
Ladd vs GDR, Ladd aggression takes it hopefully with a gnp finish
Nicco vs pena, hard call with inactivity but Nicco should be too much for pena just coming back.
Souza vs van buren, Souza too experienced for buren probably get a late sub.

With Heather Hardy returning to boxing full time there will be two champions with three belts
on notice since she was and still is that much better in boxing which is scary considering her
age.

only sad thing is how low the pay is in womens boxing, which was much of the reason she came over to mma in the first place.

anyone know if there's any truth to the rumour in the heavies that Felicia Spencer is out, and Amanda Nunes replacing her against Cyborg at 240?

“With Amanda Nunes securing a first round KO victory over Holly Holm injury free and Cyborg with only 1 remaining fight on her contract the UFC has offered and Cyborg has agreed to a rematch with only 3 weeks notice for UFC 240 taking place July 27th in Edmonton Canada. Fans will remember the first fight between Cyborg V Nunes was moved from Vegas to LA on a few days notice. Initial plan is that Felicia Spencer will no longer compete at UFC 240 instead facing the winner of Invicta’s upcoming Kaitlin Young V Pam Sorenson”

from TerezOwens.com (first time i hear about this site, have no idea about it's credibility)

I seriously doubt that. The UFC is not giving Cyborg a title fight on her last fight of her contract. That would allow her to leave as champion if she ended up winning and then leaving.

It seems like Felicia also confirms its a BS Rumor.

I know undisputed Welterweight (147 lbs) champion Cecilia Braekhus before taxes clears 50-100k
promoter depending.

It's hard to believe that a fight that took almost a year to make is done in a week. The ufc have done some shit things but to rob Fee of this would be maybe the worst example of screwing a fighter too. I personally hope it's fake too, I want to see what Spencer can do, and the short notice of it adds more questions then the rematch answers.

Felicia has confirmed the fight with Cris is still official so anyone buying the Amanda Nunes rumors needs
to get there head examined.
