yeah, disappointing. she better make some moves now. she has the athleticism, frame and power..maybe she just lacks fighting talent?I guess I didn't have a grasp for just how bad Lipski's KSW competition was because she has been awful so far 2 fights into this UFC run.

The UFC is not doing any favors with the matchups what so ever either. Whoever set this up should be flogged.
Based on what? Have you seen Meatball fight? She doesn't give a fuck. That's like Artem fighting guys in the top 15 and making them drop rounds or making it competitive. Idiotic is what it is.Really though? This was about as good a matchup as they could have given her. She's supposed to have been a ferocious strker with good technique, so a brawler who is allergic to grappling was perfect on paper. What would a nicer matchup, Priscila Cachoiera? Based on that showing I wouldn't be too confident on Lipski winning that one either. & at that point you have to say, well, maybe she just isn't good enough for the UFC at all.
for a Kings-trained fighter its very odd. Cordiero normally instills his fighters with confidence and trains them to press the action.Lipski looked like she downed half a bottle of Quaaludes before the fight. She was moving in slow motion, missing half her strikes by 5', and trying to point fight from the outside with no aggression. She was literally sleepwalking through her fight in the cage, like WTF.
No what they should have done is given her someone that isn't going to try and bite down the mouth guard and throw caution to the wind. I don't know who that is but I have seen Meatball fight before and this was just dumb. Plain dumb.
So I guess that limits us to strikers who move backwards and throw low volume, and hope that Lipski can slightly outpoint them maybe?
That doesn't give a lot of scope for matchmakers to work with (especially for someone who is supposed to be a touted prospect). Anybody you have in mind at UFC level who fits the bill she might be able to compete against?
and certainly nobody who would ever think of shooting a takedown (I mean, Molly wasn't supposed to either, nor Calderwood for that matter) because Lipski has no grappling (& I don't mean 'no grappling' in as it usually is in a jokey way for people with bad grappling, I mean, she actually has no grappling).
could be argued it's Molly meatball who should be given cans to build herself on.Like I said I don't. The UFC has the ability to scout talent for this purpose. It's not like we haven't seen them do that before. She is struggling and needs help. Bringing in cans to crush helps their confidence as they work on skillset. This is assuming she decides to work on her skillset or has that ability.
Lets not forget Shev was given a can to crush to build her back up and you wouldn't ever say her skills weren't there. Yes yes I heard about everyone turning down fighting her. Everyone leaves out the context in which that occurred in. That is nobody wants to fight her on short notice. It's idiotic.
Greg Hardy was also given a can and it has gone wonders for his confidence.

If you are going to continue that stupid shtick with me by being a contrarian at least make a lazy attempt to make sense.could be argued it's Molly meatball who should be given cans to build herself on.
she can talk, she can fight, she even had the audience chanting her name by the 2nd round.
