Official Women's Division Discussion #25

So what if Grasso loses against Suarez? No harm in losing to the best and good for her taking the match. The girls who play it safe are the ones who should be Invicta bound.

In a perfect world, that would be the "Invicta-bound" criteria.

Might be. But we need to remember that Lee has quite a lot of ability in brainfarting victories out of her grasp.

Like the D'Alelio fight. I remember being surprised Andrea was winning...then thinking, "She can cruise to a victory from here on out"...then watching her dive on top of Sarah almost like she was trying to lose. It was almost like her corner DIIDN'T give her the advice, "Whatever you do, DO NOT try to grapple with this woman!" (which I'm sure they told her many times)

This statement is so true. Its my main issue with Andrea. No matter how much of a mismatch the fight is she will make it much harder than it had to be. In her fight vs Heather Bassett the talent disparity was clearly big. No way should it have taken Andrea until the 3rd round to finish that fight. She dominated that fight but kept making low fight IQ mistakes. She is so frustrating at times because she shows flashes of the great potential she has but then she shows flashes of things that will hold her back when fighting the top girls.

Or the Sinn fight. She could have finished that one at any time, but just seemed to want to try out a few things...or get as much camera time as possible.

P.S. Because I need to say it again, "Yay!" Go Celine!!!! War Haga!!!!!

That is a rather underwhelming teaser trailer, in my opinion. Doesn't do much to evoke interest from anyone not already interested.
Thanks for sharing anyway, so I know about the documentary.

EBI 16 May 5th is bantamweight. So far it's more stacked than the previous flyweight bracket.

I just noticed Sarah Kaufman is fighting for the invicta bantamweight title. So my question is, how do you like her chances against cyborg for when they fight after Sarah beats Lehner?

Boxing champion Amanda Serrano has a date for her MMA debut. Will face Erendira “Aketzaly” Ordoñez (1-2) at Combates April 13th

Serrano is currently managed by Miesha Tate

Guys, last month I mentioned doing a special series on my channel. Wel, the first part of the series is up now.

A Case for Atomweights in the UFC: A WMMA Scene Now special series

I mentioned it in the video, but huge thanks to @awiv for providing all the statistics I used in the video.

<[analyzed}>

Would be funnier, if it wasn't likely to happen.

I mean, to be honest, Sarah would have a better chance than Yana.

That's strange. In this thread, every knows and acknowledges that Cyborg wants to fight BWs and FlyWs. It's common knowledge...or so I thought. But, over on the Heavies, there are several Sherbros who seem to think this line of thinking is foolish, misguided, untrue, and/or "hating".

^ ^ Actually, Pudilova beat Moras in Austin. Fight happened on the Cerrone vs. Medeiros card. Orlando was the recent card. ^ ^

Has Leah Letson fought at bantamweight before? I wonder where she'll be fighting now that she's signed to the UFC. I don't think the UFC are actually gonna invest in a featherweight division... I guess they're just saving her for Cyborg and then she'll do whatever she needs to.

Thanks. Sorry I will edit that out.
