Also real shame to see Asmongold sell out to the anitwoke crowd. He was once much more nuanced with his thoughts and at one time I liked some of his videos. Now its just reactionary garbage.

The environments/locations look good. Are there fun activities to do? I wish they let us make our own character and choose the gender. Any Star Wars fan has always wanted to play a smuggler in a sandbox that didn't feel like a lifeless MMO. I have loads of great memories playing Galaxies and KOTOR online, but they never felt like a lived in universe.

As much as I despise the Disney trilogy, I still love the universe before it. Looks like a big discount buy down the road, especially once a few patches tighten things up and a mod can replace the character model.

The game looks like ass. I ain't exactly alt-right lol nor do you need to be to call a spade a spade. I've looked into it, it's glitchy, generic, janky, dialogue is trash, stealth is trash, action looks... okay? Open world that looks bland without much interesting to do, looks like a worse version of GTA V in that regard. It looks like the definition of mid at best.

It's the culture now where people think if you shit on a game you must have an agenda, when in fact with games like this, Concord, Suicide Squad, and many more, people with a couple of brain cells can tell way before the game is released that it'll be ass.

People are waking up and calling out shitty devs on their shitty attempts at making games.

Yikes.

77 / 70% on Open Critic, and expect this to drop a bit as time rolls on as is the norm with any game. Probably going to settle in with games like Atomic Heart or Immortals of Aveum.

Not to many side activities. A card game and races. If you want to play it, you can always do a monthof ubisoft plus. That's what I did.

ha! I meant it as a joke about woke SW fans needing this game to be considered good by others. It's obviously not a very good game from all the videos and reviews I have seen, from reviewers that I actually trust, agree with on most other games they have reviewed.

And KOTOR is 21 years old and still fantastic. Sad how we have a new game that is the tiniest fraction of the quality that a 21 year old game is.
 
The premise seemed cool but executed poorly. Type of game I might check out in a few months at a lower price point. I hope they fix not being able to carry weapons around, that's just stupid for this type of game.
 
I watched a clip of this game, and there is a mechanic called "Fast Talker" or some such that lets you speak up and distract/confuse an enemy when they get the drop on you. I thought that was a slick idea and a perfect fit for a Han Solo-like character in this setting. But each time I saw her use it, she just said, "Uhhh...hey!" Then that made me sad, lol. Maybe it was just the clip I saw, but that would actually be awesome with a bunch of context-sensitive lines.
The other thought I had was that the cute little creature sidekick seemed to really miss the mark. I think that clashes with the scrappy rebel vibes, and a little droid could have fit better and served all the same gameplay roles.

I have no idea how i will explain this to future generations.
