Always a good time.

The best thing about boxing is all the whining immediately after the fight. I love that they don't even wait until they're backstage or anything. The winner is announced and they're pretty much right into the sooking.

Great stuff.

he's fighting a mobile guy, the extra weight will make it harder to get him where he needs to be and make it harder for him to get out of the way. Hes not fighting wilder who really couldn't formulate a strategy outside a right hand, he's fighting a complete fighter.
and Usyk did it!
how'd you score the fight?

Gotta mention my man Inoue whenever you talk about p4p.
Usyk, Inoue and Crawford are absolute p4p top 3. however you have them in order is down to personal opinion. i think Usyk with this victory is #1, Inoue is #2 and Crawford is #3.

Here's what I think hurt Fury's chances: The news that he ballooned up to 281 for the rematch.

If the judges see a fighter outweigh his opponent by 55 lbs, they're going to be more inclined to score closer rounds for the opponent because the expectation is that the bigger fighter is squandering their perceived advantage and the smaller fighter must be better than he really is.

I felt Usyk won the rematch 7-5 in a much closer fight than the first fight, but Fury didn't do himself any favors, especially in the court of public opinion by gaining that much weight.
If you mean ring IQ then yes but otherwise i don't think perceived attributes are criteria. I go sleep.

It was a good fight for sure, but not particularly close, same with the first fight. I scored both 116-112 for Usyk, Fury fans or maybe Usyk haters, I don't know what they are watching.

Fury came in with the anti-Sugar Ray Leonard strategy. Took off the end of the rounds and allowed Usyk to steal them.
maybe he was just pooped.

I'll say something else that not many mention. Roy Jones said years ago about Antonio Tarver, that an addict always has an excuse and a rationale for when things get tough. I think that is one of he things that makes it rare for an addict to really come back, there is always an excuse, not just with their drug use but that's how they live. Hector Camacho always had a story, "i can't make the weight", "I'm getting old" "my dad and I had a fight in the dressing room" Excuses aren't rare for top fighers but addicts tend to especially love them.

Good fight, Usyk deserved it.

This fight got me in the mood to play Undisputed on PS5 now, and will continue using Butterbean to knock all these modern HWs out cold, have like a 11 or 12 fight win streak. I love one punch KO'ing all this technical stuff, God bless The Bean

Fury struggled hard, rounds he did start out strong he faded & couldn't keep the pace up

Clearly he was but that's really down to him for coming in at 280 pounds.

You can't take your foot off the gas pedal if you want to beat Usyk.

Glad for Usyk but cant say it was a great fight overall. Nothing particularly memorable about any of it unlike the 1st fight

You know as soon as Usyk was announced the winner, Warren told Dubois "GET IN THERE AND GET THIS FIGHT OR YOU'LL BE BACK WASHIN DISHES IN SHEFFIELD"

the first fight was closer than remembered and more competitive than I recalled which is why I don't get why would he do something that would make it harder for him to match skills and have stamina? I'd suppose the fight was 8-4 for usyk, the big round cinched it for him not just in terms of him winning a big round but also took the fight out of fury.

This fight should be pretty onesided honestly, it's usyk's to fuck up.
