Fight night is getting closer and closer from Cleveland. Social media star Jake Paul is preparing to make his fourth walk to the ring on Sunday night inside the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse when he takes on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. The two are set to battle over eight rounds at a contracted weight of 190 pounds. It all goes down on Showtime PPV with four bouts filling out the undercard.

Paul has made quite the debut into the sweet science with three bouts all ending rather quickly. The first came against another YouTuber in AnEson Gibb when he floored him in just over two minutes in January 2020. Then in November 2020, Paul made light work of former NBA player Nate Robinson in a knockout that went viral. Finally, Paul flattened former MMA champion Ben Askren in the first round of their bout in April, but many of the purists of the sport have called on him to face an opponent that will provide at least some resistance.

Paul vs. Woodley fight card, odds
  • Jake Paul -190 vs. Tyron Woodley +160, 190-pound catchweight (eight rounds)
  • Amanda Serrano (c) -2000 vs. Yamileth Mercado +1000, unified women's featherweight titles
  • Daniel Dubois -2000 vs. Joe Cusumano +1000, heavyweight (10 rounds)
  • Ivan Baranchyk -220 vs. Montana Love +180, welterweight (10 rounds)
  • Tommy Fury -1500 vs. Anthony Taylor +850, cruiserweight (six rounds)

All these fools so confident in Paul beating Tyron, post your slip. It's hilarious to say Paul definitively beats Woodley.

Woodley via TKO/KO round 1, 2, or 3.

My props:

No slip just because I can't be bothered, but Woodley by stoppage rd 5.
He is the easy favourite Paul will fatigue and crumble when he gets hit.

The Mariners lost me $100 this weekend, I will be betting on them again today, and rolling that into the Woodley match. I also have an NFL parlay too.

I'm more excited to see Tommy belt that other little guys head off.
I've watched the build up last few days and god is that other bloke is so unlikeable.

I think in the beginning Jake will keep the distance out of respect for Woodley’s power. I think he will fight long with the jab and not over commit. After a couple of rounds they will both be gassed, throw pitter patter punches and then clench until the ref breaks them up. Rinse and repeat from there.

I have many bets on Paul by decision (+1200-+1600), Woodley Decision (+1600) and Fight goes the distance (+600).

Here are some of the bets and good luck to all.

Those aren't bad odds for Jake by decision.

Still T Wood via TKO/KO.

If Tyron is the pressure fighter he will win if he just backs into the ropes jakes winning

LOL it's a toss up tbh. An early KO doesn't spring to mind tbh unless it's from Woodley. I'd say Jake is actually going to be cautious and stay at range. Im going to go against the grain and say Woodley finds him later on with a counter right hand but it isn't enough to KO Paul and puts him in survival mode. Then the fight goes the distance and goes to a stupid draw.

I really hope Woodley KO's him though
