Man, this is better than any drama on HBO and such. Clooney who held a big fund raiser for Biden 3 weeks ago, let the press lie about cheap fakes, as did everyone else there, are calling for Biden to step aside.

Best part is Biden's campaign is basically like, "No YOU!", Jake Tapper and his anchor seem to barely be able to believe the response <lol> <lol>

I love how the media and other jabronis think this makes them look good and principled that they call out Biden weeks after the fact now that he had his disastrous debate. If they lied about him being the most cogent he's ever been, why would we bother listening to them now. The proof was already out there. Just makes these people who wax poetic about the importance of the 4th estate and the importance of democracy look even worse.

Just like Covid, Sherdog was ahead of the game

I think you don't understand Catholics very well. There is a strong sense of needing to do penance for one's wrongdoing. It would make every bit of sense in the world to me if Joe declined to give his kid a free pass for his transgressions. Maybe if the sentence were viewed as too harsh he'd let him suffer for awhile and then haul out the P-card just to ensure he learned his lesson, but right off the top? No, I think that has less than a 50-50 chance of happening.

I'm not saying he absolutely WILL pardon him. I'm saying that for ANY parent (and my wife's family is Catholic so I have some idea LOL), it's easy to justify keeping your kid out of a situation like prison even if it's not the "right" thing to do.

Hunter seems like a real turd, but I'm just saying I'd have some sympathy for Joe's decision to pardon him if he did. It's just plain different when it's your kid.

I'm saying it's just plain different when you're an old Catholic politician. We'll soon see, apparently.

I know times have changed since I was a kid but we are talking about old fuckers here. Back then, I had to go to "the Catholic school". The principle had what looked like a cricket bat mounted on two hooks on the back wall of his office. Any kid who saw it knew what it was for.

One time, a guy whose brother was in the NHL (plus he lived right across from the school) and thought he was hot shit got dragged off the playground during recess for being a shithead instead and they disappeared inside . Never caused a stir after that though the repercussions we're hard on the principle/principal also, but that's a story for another time.

Old Catholics gave no fucks about contrition without penance back in those days.

Point being, if Joe doesn't pardon him, I don't think it's a political decision; that's all.

I'd actually lean toward that being true. Joe's decline imo makes it more likely that long term political thinking is gonna be less prevalent.

If he pardons him, it's because it's a father that right or wrong cannot watch his son spend year and years in prison.

If he doesn't, it's because he's trying to be honorable or feels it's his religious duty or whatever.

Not that I necessarily disagree about the pardoning thing, but I don’t think Biden is as bound to his Catholic upbringing as you think he is. If he was he certainly wouldn’t be pro-gay rights and pro-choice like he currently is. It will most likely be a political decision.

Got a link to your source about Biden not being there for one of those visits. Cause As per the Hill, KJP has no problem lying:

The White House clarified Tuesday that President Biden saw Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist, on Jan. 17 as part of his annual physical.

Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had signaled to reporters during the daily press briefing Tuesday that the January meeting was not part of Biden’s physical, but she later confirmed that it was.

And No evidence of cognitive disorders? Yea, they are liars lmaoooo. Does it not matter to you that they clearly lie to your face?
I don't really care what KJP has to say because she is often blindsided by bad faith questions and stumbles through her answeer because to properly address the question requires looking into the facts which she can't do on that spot at the podium.

I can't find my source about Biden not being present during one of those visits so I retract that point.
edit: Also, no evidence of cognitive disorder 4 months ago (March?)... so does that mean he also saw Biden in addition to when he saw him in January, which means more than seeing him once per year for the physical? Doesn't that imply yet another lie?
Summary is dated Feb 28th IIRC but it seems that he may have been examined earlier than that date.

I think it is partly a political decision but that's not mutually exclusive to what you're saying here. And when I say its political I don't mean that in a bad way. He's trying to be anti-Trump and Trump wouldn't hesitate to pardon his underlings so Biden must set the opposite example by allowing Hunter to go to jail.

Did you read the letter that Dr. O’Connor released?

Perhaps. I'll just say it likely makes it easier if he goes that route. I'd also agree with a pardon at a future date (when he's "had time to learn his lesson") if he gets 10 years because that seems a rather harsh sentence--given what little bit I know about it.

When Obama and Pelosi carry less water for the Democratic Party than you do, you have an issue.

I actually just posted the clip in the other thread about Biden being the best shot, but Morning Mika was calling that article bullshit, because she thinks Obama put Clooney up to it! Not just talked to Clooney. Man, they have it out for Joe.
