Never heard of the movie, but since I dont know of it, guess I dont know the definition of 'cult classic' [even though I clearly explained why DeS was a cult classic and even defined the word].

I am not understanding your hang-up about the werewolves bit? Maybe the T-virus was loosely built off the blood of these werewolves or vampires.
Why judge it early when you know nothing about the game? It's a new type of enemy we get to face. I mean you could re-skin as a new T-virus hunter for all I care but in the end it's just something for you to shoot/fight against.
Most of us are enjoying the direction Capcom is taking with this series. RE7, RE2 and RE3 remakes were awesome (still working on RE3)… RE: Resistance is a co-op game I am dying to play (loved Outbreak back in the day). and Village looks great. There's a bit of everything from action to environment horror. What is there not to like?

...seriously? re2 and re3 were great, yes. which is why remakes don't even remotely interest me. but my criticism is exactly what i already mentioned - it's lazy and unoriginal. ffs, werewolves (and possibly vampires and witches... lolz)? what's not to like? ...all of it?

Remakes were awesome and a new take on super old games. There's a bunch of games out there that could use a Remake. Given the new gaming technology there is an untapped potential with remakes. If you don't agree then fine play your oldies but there are people like us who love the oldies and the new versions.
Why are you in here arguing about this for so long? Go play original games or something. You are so bored of your choices you feel the need to come in here and harp about something you don't like or support?
