Honestly all this happened at a perfect time. To many games are coming out right now I can’t keep up. It’s why I’ve had no complaints with their output because I don’t even notice it. Sony releasing a ton more exclusives would just be more games thrown in the backlog.Demon’s Souls was the game to buy a PS5 for at launch and it reviewed well. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to put that talented team on live service junk? I thought the whole point of acquiring new studios was to give them that task, not studios known for single player games. This sucks, that means no new games from these studios this gen. I understand that a successful live service game can generate income for the big single player stuff but at this point they’ve got to be burning cash. They’re certainly wasting time at the very least. Such a shame, Microsoft of all companies might bail out Sony the next couple of years with their ports lmao. They got to turn this around soon though. Focus on what made you famous Sony
True, they have very strong third party support. It still sucks to waste this colossal amount of money though. It's insane that they went all in on it. They could have went like 90% single player and 10% live service and focus on quality and making sure they have a hit on their hands. Instead they just threw everything at the wall and Helldivers 2 may very well be the only one that sticks. Not even sure Horizon live service will do well, Monster Hunter is a beast to contend with and they pretty much have that genre locked down.Honestly all this happened at a perfect time. Live service GoW sounds terrible. Glad Sony levelled up the QC checks and showing the steel to pull the plug when needed. Whatever fates these projects, both studios remain must-watches for me.
Loved The Order and think it ahead of its time in a way. Good call. I’d preorder a sequel easy were it developed in addition to having my eye on what they’d do live service-wise, especially if they went PvEvP with it. I’m a longtime fan of werewolf and vampire folklore.I think Sony should at least try making a COD alternative live service game. I've kinda dropped COD cause I hate the weapon and leveling up grind. And I think the yearly release model is not suitable for the live service games. The original Verdansk and rebirth had perfect gameplay and they fucked it.
I wouldn't mind a live service game set in the world of The Order 1886.
What else am I supposed to call it?
Yes because that is what it is called.
I think he means it use to be the shape of a triangle and actually labeled startYes because that is what it is called.
I do remember it being closer to the B button and not the X button like it is pictured there, which is kind of weird.
Nioh Collection 58% off until 29 January, announces Team Ninja. If you haven't played, now is the werewolfing hour:
I completely agree but recall their saying they want to put the property to bed with 2? I have 1200h+ in 2 so yes, please on a third and fourth journey. We have to get a 3rd right? rightttttt?!
I hope so. They’ve been involved with some banger games. Is it true that Sweet Baby Inc is involved in the development of Insomniac's Wolverine?
I remember them saying that as well but if they need some cash, I can see it.I completely agree but recall their saying they want to put the property to bed with 2? I have 1200h+ in 2 so yes, please on a third and fourth journey.
