There's already been rumors along those lines on the last 18months or so

And there's been rumors of a MGS1 remake for 12 years. Those rumors eventually became the MGS3 remake.

In this case, Sony knows the social media footprint Bloodbourne has, and how a remake/remaster/sequel's marketing would be multiplied by an enthusiastic fanbase on social media.

Bloodborne is, without question or a close 2nd place, the game that was released long ago and without a follow-up announced or released since that is regularly trended the most often on Twitter.

And there's no question that has not gone unnoticed by Sony.

Bloodborne is trending for Sony using a shot from the game as a thumbnail for the 30th anniversary video.... but no announcement of a remaster/remake...and fans are pissed after being baited.

It's shocking how so many didn't learn from a remake of Final Fantasy 7 being baited for over a decade that that's exactly what Sony is doing again.

I bet, at the latest, a Bloodborne remake/remaster/sequel will be a PS6 launch title at the latest.

Even the creator of Bloodborne said in an interview it makes way more sense to do a remake on PS6 then put it out on ps5 for just a marginal difference. To me this was the biggest clue that they’re going to give it the Demon’s Soul treatment but they’re waiting because they really want people to be impressed with the upgrade. Honestly Sony shouldn’t even get the blame, this is all on the Bloodborne community for misleading people. It’s obviously going to happen, people just need patience. It’s not like from soft has stopped making other games

Yea I'm into these types of games so I'm going to try it out. Gundam had a hero shooter that was just like OW and I actually thought it was pretty damn good. I guess not good enough though cause it was canceled pretty quickly.

Supposedly Digital Foundry heard about the prospective new PS handheld a while ago

But what's interesting about this is we actually heard about this handheld some months ago from a couple sources specifically, so, we're not in the business of leaking things but it's interesting that this finally sort of started to make its rounds because it just sort of confirmed what we had seen and heard off the record about this existing which is cool. So to me this sort of just strengthens the notion that yea they're very much working on something.


This article (Bloomberg) makes it seem like it's even further out than I thought based on that so I'm not sure what where it's going, I think there's like prototype stuff out there possibly

Really liking the 30th anniversary UI ornamentation. The quickview when mid-game by just pressing the PS button and pulling up clock top-right, page-bottom home menu and such all look so cool; love the steel-grey page-top banner, too. Wish I could keep the whole thing as a theme.

I have to say, I’m pretty cranky that I cannot find the PC adapter for the PSVR2 anywhere, just like I cannot find the disc drive for the PS5 anywhere. Like c’mon meow Sony, wtf??

I'm going to pay full price so might as well try to get the gift cards for cheaper to save something at least. I'm not that patient. Just totally baffling to me on why they would skip this function. It's an easy $5-10 for Premium Themes.

I would rank this and the Plates as two big fails from Sony this generation. They could have contracted a company to make plates for the PS5 in all sorts of designs but they would prefer to keep their PS5's all looking like Strom Troopers.

You can rope me into this mix as well. I've been digital only for years. I have my reasons (I lose them lol) but also like you said, I don't need to wait or drive to a store to pick up my game. They're also saved for my Son to play when he gets older, providing there will be server support.

So I’ve been really struggling to figure out if my laptop is or isn’t compatible with the PSVR2. As I understand it you need a DisplayPort OR USB-C that is DP compatible and is connected to the GPU.

My laptop doesn’t have a DisplayPort, but it does have a USB-C port which although it doesn’t have the little “DP” symbol next to it which is supposed to be how you tell, according to the specifications and the manufacturers website they claim that it is DP compatible.



They claim port five is USB-C with DP even though it’s not marked as such on the actual laptop.

But turning to the next issue is how can I tell if the port actually connects to the GPU or not. As I understand it if it only connects to the motherboard it will only have integrated graphics, not the discrete GPU and VR will not work at all.

Is there anyway to tell for sure @Madmick @jefferz @Slobodan ? I don’t want to waste money on acquiring not just the PSVR2 to PC adapter but also a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter.
