I find Premium better this time around. Only Extra game I'm interested in is Wonderlands.

Love the Mana series and playing SF collection will be fun for a bit.

My Prem membership doesn’t expire until April 2024 so my downgrade to Extra hasn’t yet kicked in. I still waffle a bit on whether I want to downgrade, TBH. I like the Prem titles this update too and have watched a few free films from the Sony Core app plus got to trial some games this last year I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. I still think the tier is missing something but there is stuff there for players at this point; maybe I got in too early and should have upgraded now rather than at launch.

Saw this yesterday and forgot to post. Hopefully by next gen we will have Lithium-Sulfur based batteries giving us 5 days instead of 12 hours.

It's the same version that's bundled with the Slim, the dimensions and weight are the same as the normal controller

Well I am sold. Demo was a great showcase of the gameplay

Yeah I'm very happy with my decision to preorder. I also ended up preordering Prince of Persia too after playing for 20 minutes. Didn't even bother to finish, it just clicked with me and I didn't want to spoil anymore. Hopefully can finish that one before Granblue

Sony CES 2024 booth proved immersive awesomeness:

Sony's booth at #CES2024 is mind-blowing with a Ghostbusters-themed setup! Imagine screens surrounding you and haptic feedback underfoot - it's like stepping into a basic VR world without needing a headset. Absolutely amazing experience!

Look familiar? Replicas of the the racing pods shown in @granturismo are set up at Sony's #CES2024 booth

This is cool but what ultimately stole the show for me was someone shortly after remarking the supercomputer still couldn't run Crysis. <Lmaoo>

In 2010, the United States Air Force created the world's 33rd-fastest computer inside its own Air Force Research Laboratory, using 1,760 Sony PlayStation 3 consoles.

They called it the "Condor Cluster," and it was the Department of Defense's fastest computer.

The USAF put the computer in Rome, New York, near Syracuse, and intended to use the computer for radar enhancement, pattern recognition, satellite imagery processing and artificial intelligence research for current and future Air Force projects and operations.

Because a PlayStation cost $300 at the time, together, the PlayStations formed the core of the computer for a cost of roughly $1 million, 10% of the price of a conventional supercomputer.

The result was a 500 TeraFLOPS Heterogeneous Cluster powered by PS3s but connected to subcluster heads of dual-quad Xeons with multiple GPGPUs (general-purpose graphics processing units). The video-game consoles consumed 90% less energy than any alternative.
