Phantom Blade ain’t ever coming out bro. I’m convinced all these Korean and Chinese games are fake. You telling me veterans like Insomniac and Naughty Dog can’t even make games look like that but they can? We’ve seen like 10 games from that region of the world that show off beautiful trailers and never ever put up even a release year. All these games feel like vaporware. I badly want to be proven wrong though.

Phantom blade actually didn't seem that great as far as graphics. The combat looked impressive though.

i dont get the market for the handheld project q? almost everyone has a smartphone that can remote play this thing will cost surely around $150 -200 for a online only device?

Sony seems to be trying to push remote play a lot more lately not sure why exactly. As far as using your phone I personally hate using my phone to game remotely (to game in general honestly). It's to small and with constant messages and emails I just don't like it.

I think the pricing of the device is key though. I think $200 is to much $100-150 is the sweet spot.

Hey bro, us Korean trailer fans remain steadfast in our hope the region actually starts dropping games.

Showcase getting roasted online. Not surprised, heavy hitters seemed to be a no show.

Such a shame if they don't. Their trailers are so good.

Was a little disappointed tbh

There was some cool stuff but nothing that made me lose my mind.

If the price is right i could buy that streaming handheld, my wife could watch her stupid Netflix movies and I could whittle down my backlog at the same time.

Yawn, i'm still let down from God Of War Ragnarok. Wasn't even close to next gen feels.

That is because it was still made for PS4 as well.
Was an epic game of course but felt like a part 2 that could have been released earlier and it was a bit underwhelming for me. Didn't even have as good graphics as Forbidden West.

Yeah this was a big surprise. They've been working on this for such a long time without a reveal?

Last of Us for PS5 was revealed at Summer Game Show with Geoff so maybe there's hope Neil shows up again for this?

I'm thinking the same for Death Stranding 2. I just with they included both here today.

Game development takes like 5 to 6 years and we had so many titles come at the end of PS4 and beginning of PS5. The only one besides Spiderman 2 that made sense was Factions and I was actually surprised that wasn't here.

Sony has clearly been looking at the next 6 to 12 months instead of years down the road. They are a lot different in the way they market now. People should learn to set expectations lower. Next year we'll probably get Wolverine at the showcase and maybe BluePoint game. The days of E3 are over when Sony would announce a game five years out. Kind of glad in some ways to be honest. Hard to get hyped when something is so distant.

I wasn’t as awestruck this go around as I have been with past showcases. That said, I think the biggest surprise for me was Dragons Dogma gameplay. I wasn’t expecting that. I really enjoyed what I saw.

MGS3, DDII, Alan Wake 2 (no VR?) and Phantom Blade have all gained a follower here.

Towers of Aghasba & Plucky Squire both look well done and interesting for smaller titles.

Good choices also interested in this one.

I think it was disappointing considering it should've been that big show everyone was waiting for.

No Naughty Dog
No SMS
No Sucker Punch
No Astrobot
No Bend Studio
No BluePoint
No Kojima and DS2
No Silent Hill
No Stellar Blade

From first party side it was just Spider-Man 2, which looked good but pretty much as expected.

the problem is i dont see this being $100 the backbone is already at that price point this one has a 8 inch screen, i cant see spending 150 to 200 for a device that only does one thing when there is a device we already carry everyday that does just that.

Yeah, meh showcase for me too. Had fun watching but middle content looked not my bag and I kept waiting for climactic splashes that never came – like a quick flash of a Bloodborne font, then a full moon, baby squid, or threaded cane, and an ominous 2027 across the screen. Something cryptic, seconds long, and tapping a PS playerbase vein. I would have jumped out of my seat.

Phantom Blade + Helldivers had my immediate attention and that with the MGS teaser were my highlights. Thought Ultros was Silksong *doh, so that was a fleeting thrill but a type thrill I'd wanted more of.

If I ever have an issue with my Pulse, I'm very interested in the incoming official earbuds. Case looked coolly designed and of high build quality as well, which is very Sony.

I like brother Zaz mentioning development cycles today. I think next year but more 2025 are the cresting of what I'll call a wave of first-party projects, given production times really are 5+ years now for new IP and only lengthening. Sony has a lot in the oven; hard to know.

Didn’t think it was that bad, every year can’t be swimming in blockbuster exclusives, rather this than a voice over with a game logo only to be released 4 years later.
