FWIW, I’ve also heard PowerWash is quirky-fun but they’re not needle-movers, IMO, which is what I’d thought would be in store. Maybe they’ll drop something hot for Extra rather?

Extra sucked last month and it was surprisingly Premium that saved it for me. Grandia and Parappa. Also highly recommend playing the Klonoa remasters. I bought it last year and it’s a lot of fun, fairly easily platinum too as long as you collect everything

Very good deal. Feels like the game just came out and I've heard people saying it's there GOTY. I went old school to some games I missed out on. Ni No Kuni 2 and Cross Code. Heard great things about both so I'll be working through those. Plus I still have lost judgement, Disco, and Sea of Stars on PS+. So I'll be good for a while.


Doubt I'll even make it through all that before FF7 Rebirth comes out which I will be dropping everything for.

Also AC6 is so damn good. Make sure you guys play that game. Feels like Fromsoft can't miss.

Yea I saw that but I don't game on my PC anymore. I'll take a sledge hemmer to that thing before I boot it back up. Plus I want to own Remnant 2.
 
Have not played AC6 so I might pick that up. Thanks. Going to deep-dive on the sale later and start putting a cart together. Yeah, Rem II will impress: very fun Platinum, awesome SP journey, and deep MP romps too. @method115
 
It's pretty crazy how hard it's been to get a portal. I was finally able to grab one from Best buy today and they must have got quite a bit in stock because it's still up after about 10 mins when it's usually only up for a minute at most.
 
Man…. February is so absurdly stacked. Granblue Fantasy Relink, Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy Rebirth and there’s other multi platformers like Banishers and Suicide Squad. On top of this Sony just announced the release dates of two indie games I’ve been excited for. You guys think February is stacked too?

Didn't know Granblue and FF7 release the same month. I'll probably have to put Granblue on the backlog as I'm not a fan of playing similar games back to back.

I don’t think they’re that similar. They’re both action rpgs but that’s about it. I’m equally hyped for both if not more for Relink since I don’t need to be concerned about the story. Zack being in this worries me. I hated Crisis Core and the spin offs.

They're to similar for me. I try to jump to completely different types of gameplay. Anything to similar can have me getting burnt out mid game and dropping it.

I only played the crisis core remake they did and I thought it was an ok game. It was nice to get some more background story but that's about it. I'm not to worried about him being brought into Rebirth.

Yeah I can see that but for me there’s enough differences. Relink uses a completely different art style and it’s full on action game instead of a hybrid system. It also places a high emphasis on replaying boss fights for loot like some of the monster hunter type games. To me it’s enough of a departure from rebirth as to not be burnt out but I understand your opinion
 
I don't who has a PSVR2 besides Dizzy and myself but I thought it was worth mentioning that the next 10 days easily has the strongest lineup since the launch of the hardware early in the year. Here's what to expect within the next week.

Nothing comparable, especially if you watch a lot of movies. I just upgraded from a C9 to a Samsung S90C. Has 144hz capabilities so going to be my primary gaming monitor.

I really hope Sony has some presence at these Game Awards. 2024 could be a big year for them. Hoping to see at least a few of the following: Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, God of War game if rumors are true, something VR related, and maybe Wolverine although I heavily doubt that one. I do except Death Stranding 2 and possible new trailers for Granblue Relink, FF Rebirth, and Hell Divers 2.
