Damn that teabag was fucked up lol

I thought it was a pretty good match. Only things I could suggest is to maybe try to zone a bit more especially in that matchup. You were doing it at times and it worked really well because he started rushing in and then you rushed in and got a string off because he thought you would keep zoning. Johnny's fireball is pretty underrated it's very fast.

I noticed you didn't use enhanced fireball for pressure up close. Not sure if that's really a bad thing or not because I don't play Johnny, but I'm sure you already know but it's like +4 on block or some shit.

You did wake up attack a lot but can't really say it was a bad idea because you hit him I think like every time or at least a big majority of the time. So definitely not gonna say you shouldn't do it, but if they start blocking and punishing it just make sure you can adjust.
 
True, enchanted fireball is + on block and i dont know why im not doing it. For some reason i do "keep" bar for potentional combos, but i should for better pressure use it.
Tbag was just because of our previous match. And ye i do like to tbag anyways if they use Erron, Geras or Scorpion, its fun :D
 
I saw this yesterday in my recommendations. I agree with Shao Kahn buffs and fixing Raiden's hitboxes though there's a lot that I'm sure needs fixing in general.

Purely for single player and no couch multiplayer?

IMO probably not unless you are a big MK fan. The story mode is good for a fighting game and every character has an arcade ending and there’s other single player stuff to do but the problem is a lot of the challenging stuff is more tedious and stupid than a fun challenge and trying to unlock everything will probably drive you crazy

But if you like MK and are cool with story mode and arcade mode type stuff then yeah it could be worth it. Also, you could just wait until they inevitable release a cheaper version that comes with the DLC

I played it for maybe a couple weeks once it launched, then came back for a few days when ole Shang was released. Basically did the storymode (which doesn't really take long at all) and suffered through the moneygrab towers and supergrind lootbox Krypt.. Even with the nerf to the krypt currency and necessary in game buffs (cashgrab) to basically play the tower part of the game, they already lost me.

Barely play it now. Prolly check in when the new characters are released since I stupidly paid for the pack up front at launch. Hate day one DLC type things, you're basically telling them you'll pay full price for an incomplete game and pay even more for the rest of the game as it's finished. Highly doubt I pay for any more packs.

If you're an MK fan it's a fun game. If I buy any more MK games here on out I'm just going to wait until they make the $20 'Kollekted Ekition'.

I thought the DLC release drops were fine for IJ2. This has been awful tho. It’s especially bad because the DLC isn’t even that hype. I mean who cares about sindel or ash Williams? I had hope that they would drop another Kombat pack but that will be damn near a year. And will the community even be strong? A lot of people are dropping this for multiple reason whether it be the obnoxious grinding, the increasingly stale gameplay, the game play design, etc
 
Speaking of grinding, for the stupid character towers do the ridiculous requirements only count during offline play. Because, for example, land 25 KB with Cassie is something I know I’ve accomplished but it’s mostly online. So you mean to tell me none of that counts towards offline towers?
