It's fun in theory but fighting 100000000 Geras, Sonya, Scorpion etc. and sometimes laggy ones gets annoying af. But since it's a ranked mode and there's rewards to climb up it makes sense why you'd fight so many of them

I haven't played it too much tbh. For the most part I just do the 5 matches a day. In total I have 77 games so far in there. I can't play it for too long because the salt overload is too much for me

Yeah, I beat a Demi-God and got like +120. Then I lost one and lost -20. Then I won against I think a Master and only got +15 but had I lost I would have lost over -100.

Shit is scary lol

Yea I reached there about last Friday. Keep floating between there and grand. I can forget about God rank. I go on a 7 game win streak and then lose five straight, sometime to absolute scrubby bums like a scorpion who stands full screen throwing spears trying to bait out a projectile to punish teleport. Or a Kung Lao who is mashing strings into down 3 over and over

Did they change some methods shit, every match its 1t0 or more ping, I like between a bunch if cities it's not like I'm in Canada or some shit. Any reason it keeps putting me against Russians and south Americans wtf

....well, I watched a friend of mine fight a demi-god who had a negative record. That REALLY shouldn't be a thing. Maybe that guy will eventually lose his way up to Elder God, Sexyama style, lol.

He probably keeps getting matched and wins against higher ranked guys but also loses to them/similar rank. You get a ton of points for beating a higher rank (+100 or more) and only lose -20 or so for losing. Even losing to your own rank I think at most you lose like -30 or -40.

That's definitely weird though.
 
Wonder if mk on the switch is fun. I've been wearing my switch out.

That's how it is with other fighting games I've played, especially SF, but I've never seen Diamond/Master players with losing records, lol. Maybe a ridiculous amount of points isn't required like in other games.

edit: Ok, that seems to be the case, plus like you said, some of these players may have defeated higher ranked opponents.

Apprentice: 500
Kombatant: 1000
Warrior: 1500
Champion: 2000
Master: 2500
Grandmaster: 3500
Demi-God: 4500
God: 5500
Elder God: 5500+

That's not as ridiculous as SFV.

Also, here's a tournament that features custom variations. I haven't watch it myself, but it should be interesting.

Just picked up Johnny. He can either be really great or absolutely trash. When the spacing and whiff punishing works it’s beautiful. But when he’s hit box issues flare up and someone turtles/crouch blocks all game it’s pure struggle. Give him one overhead. Make the last hit of the stupid F4,3 string that whiffs on everyone an overhead

I found out about those Reptile Kombat Kards and dumped coins into it until I got them. The only thing I have to honor my fallen friend
