Multiplat Official Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Disc

11 hours in the game and I haven't done shit. Just been wondering about and trying not to die.
Game looks beautiful and runs fantastic.
I'm not looking up hints or quest help online like I did for the first one.
Just going to let it wash over me lake a warm shower.

Same. I spend a couple hours and get so little done. Although I did assassinate a bundle of bandits and got pretty decent shit off em.

If you want a horse hint pm me, I stumbled into a ride.

Pretty awesome so far. Haven't been able to put it down. It really has improved on pretty much everything from the first game.

Only issue for me is some jank during combat like hits not registering which can be the difference between life and death.

I'm finding the lack of hand holding to be a refreshing experience.

"Go over to that split birch," no arrow, no line on a map. Just a birch trunk split, over there. I recognised the tree type and went to it.

Btw if you need help finding things which aren't main or side quests, grey shields, you can look at the task in your log and see it on the map, then pop a marker there if need be.

I do enjoy the feeling of being on my own, vulnerable and at times 'lost' in a game like this. It takes me back to the feeling of playing Morrowind again, which is one of my fav games.

This game is much easier than the 1st. Once you pick up decent gear and weapons it's been a breeze. Probably trying out hardcore once it drops

Yes!

It really puts life in the era into context. Unless you have a crew you're pretty fucked. Meeting people on the road is a real conundrum.

I'm loving this game, it's so damn chill, especially with the music.

I find the combat a lot more responsive and you're way more affective earlier on this time. It still suffers against multiple enemies, but I've been able to handle most multi-enemy encounters so far.

Known Early Bug Warning - Makes Companion Recruiting Quest difficult
I have a really funny known bug, which is also annoying. An old lady that helps you at the beginning (Bozhena) keeps running away from me calling me a murderer, even after I buried a couple of bodies for her.

Not really a spoiler, as it happens so early, but the set up of the game has you and Lord Hans get ambushed on a diplomatic mission. Eventually you find your way to a hut with an old lady healer.

You have to kill someone once you wake up and then bury them, with her guidance. Then you go pick some herbs and when you return two more enemies show up.

The thought is that it's supposed to be a tutorial on dialogue/diplomacy but if you fight and kill any of them, the old lady will always run away from you calling you a murderer once you give her the herbs and she does her thing.

You need her to help find your dog later, your only companion I believe. The only way to talk to her without running away is to sneak up behind her and hit the talk button. You get another quest that involves her, which she bolts from. It's hilarious, considering what she asks you to do and what you've already done.

Anyway, here's a link to help too.

This game is TOO chill. Fuck me. I log on for an hour, plan to get a mission done then spend the time finding comphrey, reading alchemical texts and fucking playing a game of dice.
