Didn't get up early as my sleep was shit, but Shota Umino v Ren Narita was great! Not too sure on the booking of that Chase Owens v Gabe Kidd match mind ya

Doing a great job of making Okada look vulnerable by playing up his submission loss to Danielson at Forbidden Door. Especially with commentary making a point to say Danielson submitted him with essentially one arm. This is gonna be an interesting tournament for Okada

It's probably too early to call on who will be the best, but Yota Tsuji is easily my favourite of the new three musketeers. He's already got his persona down, whereas Narita and Shota still seem to need work. All 3 are brilliant in the ring so far, but Tsuji has a uniqueness that Narita and Shota lack imo. Not just in the way they look, but even with Tsuji's offence.

They're doing a really good job with selling the effects of Forbidden Door. First with Okada and now with Ospreay. Pretty solid first night of the G1 so far. Not expecting much out of Sanada v Hikuleo in the main event though.

Sanada v Hikuleo wasn't that bad to be fair. Good first night of the G1! I think A block is gonna be my favourite judging from tonight.
