I really like Elden ring and the DLC and have the playstation platinum but the new game looks like ass. Just copied and pasted assets to pander to their fanbase.

PS - will probably play anyway
 
I'm curious to see Miyazaki's take on a coop/MP game, whatever this is. Outside 2 player coop games, or Battlefield titles, MP stuff isn't really my thing.

I wonder how they'll justify the Nameless King being in an Elden Ring setting? I can't see Miyazaki making lazy fan service like that, he usually has a lore purpose.
 
Very Ubisoft-like. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

By the time I tried them out they were terrible. Very squishy.

In ng+ - ng +6 nothing really compared to mimic.
 
I live me some Monster Hunter, and all about their take with Nightreign. MH:Wilds is my next big game in February. Just hope there is some time between since I can easily dump 500+ hours into it, and will definitely need a break for that style of combat.

Going by what YouTube says, the new Elden Ring is a spinoff game. It's a roguelike game. Preset character classes you choose from. Then you enter randomized dungeons or areas and fight bosses single player or co op. Combat is much faster and more spectacular than Elden Ring.. They say this game is leading us into the FromSoft Masterpiece.

The price is $40

They said this game will focus on some enemy called the Night Lord and Gloam Eyed Queen and Nox Underground City. Somehow Bloodborne and Darks Souls ties into Night Reign too.

I'm buying the game. I still think it's going to be a good game. Even the lore alone is going to be worth it for me

I already know what guy I'm picking from the trailer. I'm getting the guy who flies around on the eagle. He even looks like my Elden Ring guy already.

This game is going to be like Golden Axe but Elden Ring.

Yeah, I just saw this video from Ziostorm, detailing more about the game. Miyazaki greenlit it, but sounds like he's been hands off. As studio lead, I'm sure he'll have some oversight, but I'm looking forward to seeing what this other staffer will do with the IP. I like that you can play it single player as well, but it sounds like a blast coop.

Dark Souls 2 had a lot of issues, but I still loved it. I've always wanted more takes on their IP's from different minds. Armored Core 6 was great!

 
Arent FromSoftware games notoriously known for having bad netcode?
 
I'm on my 4th or 5th playthru

I started a new game. Killed Margot easily. I'm only going to use the Spirit Wolves or Jellyfish summon on this run. No Mimic Tear or any high powered summons.

I learned those Jellyfish are dead people. Somehow they were turned into Jellyfish. One of my favorite quest is the Jellyfish quest.

My new weapons for this run is Maliketh Death Blade and Meteoric Ore Greatsword. Dual wield. 2 badass swords.
 
This looks soulless tbh. No pun intended. These money making 'spinoffs' lack the quality of Miyazaki products and only tarnish an almost impeccable trajectory. No pun intended.

I'd bet the eagle was a generic transport system ala Torrent.

I'm getting back on Elden Ring in the tent. I just set all this up and I like it. I had to show somebody
