I think I’m stuck between Vagabond, Warrior and Prisoner. Dex + Str + Int is a build I’d like to go for. Not sure how well that would work out though. I really dig the glintstone sorcery.
Wretch.....

Like link in BOTW. Add to the adventure of scavenging to survive.

I’m hoping naked with a heavy weapon is still a viable build. It’s my go-to. Probably why I hated Sekiro.

No I lost because the game is boring. If I wanted to play a rhythm game, there’s many others better than Sekiro. I wanted a challenging action RPG akin to the other Fromsoft games.

This can only be settled one way. 1v1 on launch day.

Sekiro broke you.....I dont think youre gonna handle ER. Sekiro is the GOAT game for that reason, it made you quit.

I rarely do PVP, but for your bum ass, Id lay the smack down. <Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

Sekiro is their best game. If you're having trouble its because you didn't understand the mechanics well enough or you didn't understand how to use the prosthetic tools properly. It takes some experimenting. Souls games aren't as difficult because any time a player struggles they can simply farm enemies and overlevel the boss encounters. Sekiro actually required you to learn the game properly and a lot of people didn't which is why it has a low completion rate and is considered less popular than other games. Once it clicks, its amazing and the verticality of the game made it more immersive.

Hold on....

Sekiro aint no Bloodborne mate. The combat may be slightly better in Sekiro but Bloodborne is the best one as a complete package. Too many Perfects.....art direction, level design, bosses, DLC, pacing, lore....I can keep going on and on.

Sekiro is fantastic aswell, but the magnum opus is Bloodborne.

This sekiro was awesome. It made me learn how to use it's mechanics and simply not rely on over level like other games . I was proud of beating all bosses .

4. DS1
5. Demon Souls
6. Blood Bourne

Id legit be surprised if anyone shares this same list.

1. Bloodborne
2. DS1

Yeah, a lot of people share your view. Don't get me wrong, its still a great game as all of them are but I put it lower on my list than most people do. If I had to rank them it would be something like this.

Sekiro
Dark Souls III
Dark Souls
Bloodborne
Demon's Souls (Remake)
Dark Souls II
Demon's Souls (Original)

Bloodborne may have great art direction but I disagree with you big time on the bosses. Outside of the DLC and the last boss of Bloodborne the bosses are pretty forgettable compared to what they've done since then. I mean I can name plenty of bosses that were amazing from Sekiro and Dark Souls III.

In Sekiro you had Isshin, Father Owl, Guardian Ape, Lady Butterfly, and Genichiro.
In Dark Souls 3 you had Soul of Cinder, Gael, Lothric, Nameless King, Dancer of the Boreal Valley, Demon Princes, Sister Friede, and so many others.

Sekiro > Bloodborne > DS3 > Everything else i haven't played.

Sekiro is my least favourite Miyazaki-lead From game. I really didn't like the setting, despite loving Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden. Ultimately I didn't care for the lore/story.

I need purpose to advance, or at least like the world/lore, like in Dying Light. The story there is nothing special, but I love the world building. The combat is over the top fun, and easy to lose hours in without having to be on your A game.

Sekiro combat is cool once you learn the mechanics, so I think if it was in a Star Wars universe, I'd probably like it more. It's the perfect lightsaber mechanic. Hopefully Fallen Order mirrors it more, as it's more Sekiro light than Souls IMO, gameplay wise.

I'm glad they went back to Souls-like gameplay here, while expanding on magic/different attacks. That formula is far more conducive to having different builds, which is one the best parts of Souls. I had so much fun with DS2 and shaking up my build mid game.

Less than a week boys!!!

But Sekiro has a story, Dark Souls is basically just a bunch of lore that you figure out on your own if you choose to do so. There's no real narrative there pushing the story forward. Everyone plays it for the gameplay.

What do you also mean by the setting? The game has several different locales.

Senpou Temple and Fountainhead Palace are among the best locations in the entire series imo. It has less areas overall than your typical Souls game but there's way more to explore in each o ne because you can climb vertically.

THe gameplay loop in Soulsborne games are crack, but that's not what kept my interest, if not outright fanaticism, long after.

Dark Souls, like Bloodborne, has a great story in it, many great stories, they're just told differently. The lore is ridiculously deep. I love the gameplay, but It was the lore, and environmental storytelling that got me invested. It's the only reason I wanted to finish DS2. I like that it was optional. I wasn't forced to sit through any cut scene that breaks up gameplay. I could take it in at my own pace. I almost loved watching lore videos as much as playing/experiencing it myself.

If you feel differently, that's fine, but Sekiro wasn't for me. I pretty much tapped out after the Ape

I was just offering a different perspective, as some were saying people didn't finish Sekiro because of the gameplay. I think Nioh 2 has the best gameplay of any Souls-like, but I never finished it either. The story/world didn't keep my interest. i'll prob finish both at some point, as I do like the gameplay, but whenever I started a Soulsborne game, after it clicked a few years ago, I couldn't stop until each game was completed, and multiple times.
