Sekiro is my least favourite Miyazaki-lead From game. I really didn't like the setting, despite loving Tenchu and Ninja Gaiden. Ultimately I didn't care for the lore/story.
I need purpose to advance, or at least like the world/lore, like in Dying Light. The story there is nothing special, but I love the world building. The combat is over the top fun, and easy to lose hours in without having to be on your A game.
Sekiro combat is cool once you learn the mechanics, so I think if it was in a Star Wars universe, I'd probably like it more. It's the perfect lightsaber mechanic. Hopefully Fallen Order mirrors it more, as it's more Sekiro light than Souls IMO, gameplay wise.
I'm glad they went back to Souls-like gameplay here, while expanding on magic/different attacks. That formula is far more conducive to having different builds, which is one the best parts of Souls. I had so much fun with DS2 and shaking up my build mid game.
Less than a week boys!!!
