Goddamn I can’t wait to explore this world. I was glad to find that bosses aren’t just in these castles, they’re actually out in the world as well. I stopped the video when they were going to show one of the bigger boss fights but my excitement is growing the more I learn about this.

Got the collector’s edition preordered on PS5, cannot wait.

looks like the leaker was right. he claimed the starting are was called Limgrave and Arcane stat would return.
He also claimed that Patches will be returning as an NPC

Looks great, I’m experiencing Cleganebowl levels of hype.

Seems like the endgame for popular franchises is to go open-world. With varying success. Hope it's good and the world map looks awesome, but it takes great attention to detail, experience, to make a good open world.

For this genre the same spot farming will be less in a big open world, so for replayability it's great. For memorizing areas it's not. Lots of surprise deaths coming.

Totally agree. It had the fluidity of Sekiro which I loved. The weapon arts were great and it looks like the game is giving you a ton of different options mixed together (ie. sage mixed with 2-hand, mixed with 1-hand and long range). I during co-op section, one player used the dragon arm which was the same one the gold demi-god had during the battle. Curious if you'll pick up certain skills after defeating them you can choose to equip. Would love to grab someone with it.

That looks fucking awesome. Legit sexy.

It really seems like the next evolution of FromSoftware combining all their masterpieces into one plus more. The only downsides visually are there are a few animations that could've been updated but aside from that it looks to have a good fluidity to the combat. One of the biggest plus points for me is seeing Bloodborne's style side steps rather than being limited to dramatic rolling.

Gonna be a day one purchase for me fellow Tarnished.

We all know each other well enough to where I can just say holy *** and I'll be understood. So, holy ****, lol. Our old friends art and agony meet again. One takeaway I'll add is having now watched ER freeroam with whatnot enemy types in the wild, I'm getting lovely Dragon's Dogma vibes here. There are already trolls spreading doctored screengrabs with ADP inserted into character stat page... Is naught sacred? Ha.
