Gotdamn, this is exciting. Sincerely hoping the collector’s edition is delivered on time.
Don't bother reporting a break-in after launch and thieving of your Malenia statuette. In envious fit, it was me. Gee, sorry, officer, I don't know where I was the evening of the 25th, maybe freeroaming the open plains of the Lands Between...

I cant believe were almost here, boys.

I'm so ready for this game. Have that Friday off as well as Monday and Tuesday. Already told the wife I'll be home those days but to her it'll be like I'm at work.

Lmao nice. I have that Friday off as well. I wish my PS5 and TV was in a place that wasn't as lit. I would much rather play this in the dark.

Had a look at the starting classes and still on the fence what to start the game as. Magic never really appealed to me so i'm trying to decide whether to go strength and heavy weapons focused like i did in Dark Souls 3 or go the dex route and try and play ala Bloodborne.

What style of play are you guys thinking of going for first? Strength, Dex, Magic or something in between?

I honestly haven’t read up on the classes but in my last two run throughs of Dark Souls 1 and 3 I fell in love with a strength/faith build ala Solaire (the GOAT) so I’m likely going to do that first, but in the past I’ve also enjoyed doing dex builds with katanas, or maybe I’ll go strength/intelligence and try to find my beloved moonlight Greatsword (under the assumption it will scale on intelligence like it did in the Dark Souls trilogy and not scale on faith like it did in Demon’s Souls).

I'm more Dex but I'd love to find a way to run a Dex + Magic build. I generally like quicker combat but I haven't experienced much of the magic soulds games offer.

I kind of have a similar issue. I wont be able to use my good 4k HDR tv which is downstairs. I'll have to use my 1080p monitor or my 1080p tv in the bedroom. Neither is on par with my 4k TV. I've been meaning to buy one but I'm just so frugal about this sort of stuff.

I was under the impression we were all ride-or-die for the classes we committed to months and tens of pages ago – no flip-flopping. I'm running Prophet so I can don a Logarius wheel about my neck.

In reminder, classes are:
  • Hero
  • Bandit
  • Astrologer (this sounds amazing for some reason)
  • Warrior
  • Prisoner
  • Confessor
  • Wretch
  • Vagabond
  • Prophet
  • Samurai
Maybe also Bloody Wolf, Champion, and Enchanted Knight but I'm not sure if those were PTS/beta build classes.

Can't even remember if i picked a class but i think i'll go Samurai, because Samurai, or Astrologer because i have no idea what he'll be like.

Vagabond looks interesting to me, Starting class with a bastard sword

I'm going to go with the vagabond class because I've always liked just running in there headfirst and trying to take down stuff without any magic. The prisoner looks kind of interesting too, you can shape that class into anything and its got pretty great stats. I'm probably going to start a few days late though depending on my Horizon playthrough. That game looks too good to pass on
