I never really played the multiplayer in Doom 2016, but the idea that Doom Eternal doesn’t have death match seems sacrilegious to me. The original Doom literally created death match, the phrase was coined by John Romero himself.

Doom without death match just feels wrong.

I honestly couldn't agree more.

Although it makes sense to me (Quake Champions already fills that "void" for id), it's still pretty disappointing.

It’s gotten mixed reviews so I’ve been MeH about actually loading it up and playing it.

This is one of the more random discussions I’ve been a part of lol.

I’m someone who loves bright colors though so the whole aesthetic of Eternal really appeals to me.

No offense to that dude if it really bothers him that much, but I don't get it ha. It's not much more noticeable than the old UI and the whole game is colorful.

If you're a Quake fan I recommend giving it a go. The netcode has been its biggest issue but I've still had a lot of fun with it. It needs a lot of work but it's still enjoyable IMO.

No offense to that dude if it really bothers him that much, but I don't get it ha. It's not much more noticeable than the old UI and the whole game is colorful.

No I was in Siberia for that one, I wanted to be there though.

They are a blast, lots of stuff to do and crazy stuff like the Ballz chugging contests etc.

The Gaylord is a giant complex, park your shit and stay the weekend and never have to leave there. It’s been awesome since it’s moved there

Muliptle restaurants, stores, bars , coffee shops and kids shit to do there.

They have their own water park , it’s a hell of a place. Fly in to Dfw, take the airport shuttle there and don’t have to leave the complex u til it’s time to go home.

Yeah that pic of the updated cyberdemon has been around for a while now.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of making the Cyberdemon a giant boss battle, though he was in the original Doom.

In the original, he was easily figured out. In Doom 2016, he was moderately difficult as a boss, but what we really wanted was to see Cyberdemons in the mix of the various enemies when you're being swarmed by them.

Overall, I wouldn't consider it a huge flaw to Doom 2016, just an expected subverted. Though I'm very happy to see 'the tyrant' in Doom Eternal.

I love deadspace, but it’s a different play feel for survival horror.

Doom 3 almost feels like a “proof of concept” prior to dead space if you will.

Doom 3, for the majority is the least liked of ALL doom games, IT doesn’t feel like DOOM

Doom is supposed to be super fast paced, casual rip and tear killing insanity.

Turn it on ultraviolence or Nightmare, strap in and go to killing.

That’s the ONLY way to play Doom IMO
