I would disagree with that. I actually liked Lilith a lot. I think Blizzard missed a huge opportunity here. I think at the endgame they should give you a choice to side with Lilith, the heaven or hell. I would’ve been on team Lilith

Blizzard just doesn’t have any ambition anymore
+1 for team Lilith.

Hit level 90 with my seasonal fire Sorc. The push is real. Doing Tier 45 dungeons and it's going pretty smooth. Sucks I had to spec out of Inferno to grab Frozen Armour for the extra Mana Regen, fortify and unstoppable (with the aspect). You can't truly go full fire or your Sorc becomes to squishy, like you can with the Cold Sorc.

Been really fun though. I think I might try and take him all the way to 100 but I feel like I am starting to get burnt out on it a bit, no pun intended.

I've grinded all 90 levels for the seasonal pass thing too and my Seneschal is almost maxed out. Not much left to do. I miss my homie @Wrath of Foamy . Game is a lot more fun with friends.

Okay, I think I know why the end game is kind of shit in this game. What the hell is with the loot drops all of sudden regressing? I'm level 68, and I haven't had a legendary drop over level 45 for what seems like ten levels. Even the Helltides are routinely giving me useless grossly under-leveled dog shit. Whispers are the same. They make the enemies scale with you, but not the loot drops? Without that carrot on a stick, it's kind of hard to give a shit. Gonna give it a few levels on Tier IV, but if this doesn't change, I'm probably done with it for while.

Okay, Tier IV is pretty good and keeps you going for a bit longer. Still getting 50% useless drops, but It's also been a lot more generous. The difficulty spike is okay for the most part, but some enemies are just stupidly overpowered, like those retarded "demonic" bows that just one shot 99% of your health. Although, I did just reach Level 70, so I might be a bit underpowered. Still think it could use a more concentrated end game, like D3. I'm doing all this shit, but the overall goal seems a bit...aimless. I liked the "Rift" system a lot better than this kind of randomized challenge of just doing Helltides, Whispers, and whatnot. Although, I do see a lot of promise in the "seasons" just introducing new campaign-like elements.

Also, if they expect me to uncover this ridiculously large map all over again, every single time I start a new character, that's gonna be a bit much. Don't know if they do, but it feels they do. I'll find out next season, I suppose.

Finally almost got a max tier character. My seasonal Fire Sorc is halfway to 100 (I will probably hit 100 tonight). Never had a maxed out character in Diablo 2 or LoD as the grind was to real. Diablo 3 never played it enough to care. So this is something new to me. Got some pretty epic uniques to for him included Tibaults Will and X'Fals Corroded Signet. Just need to max out his gear with BiS 925's and maybe a Starfall Coronet or Flamescar and the build is done.

Part of the fun of leveling passed 50 is watching your character grow through the Paragon board and not just through gear. It's like a puzzle in of itself. And once you max your Glyphs it is a massive bump in growth.

Thinking about running a Summon Necro for Season 4 as I hear they are pretty fantastic and it will be a new change of pace from my Corpse Explosions and Shadow Necro.

You do not need to uncover the map again. Do points, obols or potions again and Lillith Shrines. They are account bound and applicable to both Eternal and Seasonal realms. You do need to do strongholds, side quests and Waypoints per character but it helps with renown early on for XP and Gold bumps.

Commence D4 hyyype! New season and loot begins tomorrow. D4 officially out of beta. Now the real game can begin.

Gonna start a new Shape shift Druid I hear they are pretty beast mode.

Here's a brief rundown of all the things coming in a parsed video including input from the devs. Lots of feedback was provided.

Downloading the update now.

I completed the main quest with a Druid and I did some of season 3 with a Rogue. I'm more fond of my Druid to be honest, but I don't think that I want to run another character of the same class. I can respec if I want to with them as well.

So thst leaves Barb, Sorc and Necro.

I'm thinking mostly of running a Blood Necro, though I've heard that a Sorcerer based on Ball Lightning is fantastic, same with Barbarian and Dust Devils.

I wonder if there is a brief rundown based solely on class changes?

Edit: Went for a Blood Necromancer. It's easy mode. I'm level 25 and I've died once because I was on the phone, and had to use a potion probably twice? I haven't put anything into minions, but they're still running rampant and carrying me through.

I play one character/class per season, and I've played them all except Necro, and minion Necro happen to be top tier so I decided to try.

I have mixed feelings about the new version of the game, at least the starting part. They did fix a lot of annoying things that people didn't like, but I feel like they either remove the annoying feature altogether or simplified to a point where it's not as fun. Case in point, I like looting the mystery chest in helltide and now they change it so that you don't need a 3rd party app to find them, but they also nerf the chest and make it easy to open (just 100 cinders). I much rather they require more cinders and had tons of goodies.

This new season, I am able to be in full legendary gear by lv25, that's maybe 30 minutes into the game with a very powerful/convenient unique that auto raise skeleton/crowd control for me. This is A LOT of hand holding and I find myself not as engaged because things just came too easy. I hope things get more interesting in Tier 3/4 and end game.

On a sidenote, shadow and water reflection look great with raytracing, if you have the fps headroom to spare.

Oh' damn, they Diablo 3'd it. LOL.

You can't blame them, really. Every friggin' complaint I read about this game, circulates around it being a "grind" to get the really good loot. Diablo players don't know what they want.

You did rotate into the best class for this season so its extra convenient and made it uber easier.

Even I am thinking about dipping back into Diablo IV now because they have finally fixed tons of shit.

For farming sorc and barb are excellent i believe based on what i read and watched on youtube but they may be a bit lacking against top end game and bosses supposedly. Both builds got nerfed a bit.

I just cleared the Capstone Dungeon required to unlock Torment difficulty, with a level 54 Necromancer.

I wanted to go pure Blood Mage, but minions are massively overpowered and I succumbed to temptation. Now I have undead soldiers much more powerful than I, doing all of the work, whilst I just sit back and use blood mist when I'm in a pinch.

I also have an issue with the Tree of Whispers. When trying to turn in the Grim Favours, all I get as options is a vertical white line with a grey background, and no way to accept anything.

That was patched.

Also, are you not cursing the mobs or using Corpse Tendrils?

Yeah, it's fine now.

I don't need to curse them or use tendrils. I use blizzard, army of the dead, have two extra minions and just focused on picking skills to buff them up. They clean up regardless.

Sounds boring af. But fishymancers always were boring. That's why I did a pulverize Druid cause melee classes are always fun.

I don't know man. There is something satisfying about leading an army into battle, then hiding behind said army like a bitch with blood mist as they do all the work.

I changed from Earth Spike to Maul with my Druid, just to keep with the same theme as when he jumps off a horse...

Can anyone explain to me the point of the Codex of Power when no one is going to imprint onto shitty Ancestral and Sacred Rares due to lack of affixes. I guess you can imprint on Legendaries but that's boring. The game is way to easy now and the affixes kind of suck. Like why didn't they just make the loot like Diablo 2. They decided to emulate Diablo 3 though. Diablo 3 sucks.

Half the fun of Diablo is the hunt and it's just not a good hunt game now. You can target farm uniques at uber bosses and no set items like previous titles. Just nothing to farm or hunt for.

I feel Blizzard did a good job with leveling speed. In D2 it sucked having to barter to get rushed to do baal runs. People playing softcore may not appreciate it as much, as death is meaningless there.
