Will the PL expansion prove a do-over for the title after widely maligned launch?

We all know songbird was the romance option we wanted
Or Alex.

Or Songbird for the Male-V, & Alex for the Female-V.
Would have been in the same vein as the base game having separate main romances depending if you're male or female.

Would have made it even more repayable.

If you romance Alex but side with Songbird.
If you romance Alex but side against Songbird.
If you romance Songbird & side with her.
If you romance Songbird but betray her.

Would have added another layer to play as Male-V, romance Songbird, and it would have been so much more believable he was so devoted to her to get her to the spaceshuttle & moon to save her.

Played through PL four times now and always killed this NPC, so this video is enlightening.

Movie wont work, it needs to be a series and you would need to ask which ending for v is canon (personally think its the secret one since it aligns with vs dream but thats just me)

Cyberpunk genre series can be done, altered carbon S1 one proved that
They are doing a Mass Effect TV series. I would love to see a Cyberpunk 2077 series.

Aaron Paul for V.

If Aaron Paul was the same age as when he first starred in BB, then I'd agree. But he's in his mid-40s now.

Off-subject : I saw this interesting discussion on reddit for a question I've always wondered.

Always figured she was the Cyberpunk equivalent of Darth Vader... "She's more machine than woman now."

Speaking of more machine then... Wonder if he has a cyberware shaft :D

I love these short bits from interviews with the Voice Casts.

Also a new update is being dropped in a week. I wouldn't get my hopes up for it being a 'major' update like 1.5 or 2.0.

But it'll be interesting what new there is to explore in my 7th playthrough.

@TribalDrumz

Ever play Phantom Liberty & complete the main game?
Was pretty dam epic Yup I finished phantom liberty first somehow with the Solomon reed songbird back and forth going on. Then I finished main story which was also epic overall.

The only thing that bothered me late game was i felt too powerful. Like I wasn’t afraid to take out streets full of dudes.

Yup, that's a common complaint, especially on the medium & hard difficulties
And it's a relevant complaint with the hardest difficulty. You can follow specific builds to become a Cyber God that is unkillable and able to kill crowds of enemies within seconds.

Really hope CDPR rebalances the difficulty in the upcoming update.

Goddammit.... I'm getting the itch to play CP2077 again... For the 7th time.

Completely ridiculous how this game keeps pulling me back into it.

So what am I going to do differently this time? Going to do the 'Play Phantom Liberty' option that skips Act1 and the main story up to taking out the Voodoo Boys and all of the lame brain dances... Or whatever those things are called.

Will be playing Phantom Liberty exclusively all the way through, maybe with the exception of looking for all 13 Skill Shards.

Probably going for an AssaultRifle/SMG build, and I'm looking forward to acquiring Erebus again. It's my opinion it's the most effective weapon in the game.

I've been using the Rook. Time slow down with it being silenced and fast crouching you're essentially half your size sprinting just wasting fools hitting weak spots before they even know what's happening

Did a stealth build a while ago and... It is a way to play the game but not one of the most optimal ways to play the game.

But, I just checked, and it is a free gun so I may pick it up at the beginning of my next playthrough to give it a shot.

Truth be told, when it comes to that many trees and skills, I kinda just develop ADHD and go based on what seems cool and what I can use. I Just started investing in hacks and became a cyberrunner that just happens to do the baby xenomorph speeding around wrecking stuff deal.

Games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls are too complicated for my attention span. I just wanna play lol

Love reading the posts of those who do research and tinker, though. You guys are amazing.

Bro, some of what I've posted about builds were original but mostly they're of my impressions of builds I learned about on YouTube.

There's several awesome builds and they're all OP.

Since you're playing as a netrunner this video will be very interesting.

God I hope they continue the series.
