Got 2 hours in last night .. it was all hacking into recordings ?! I liked it because it guided you but it definitely took up a lot of time in that Heist mission with Jackie.
Also the ps5 controller makes loud noises with the actions, I can’t find anywhere to turn down the volume , can only turn it off .

Quick question, does your chosen love interest play any part in Phantom Library? Getting more scenes with Panam would definitely help with the decision to play this or not.

*Phantom Liberty is the best expansion ever, surpassing Witcher3's Blood & Wine by a slim margin.
*The ONLY complaint I have is there should have been two characters that should have been romance options, but aren't. Could tell from the overall narrative that romance conversations could have been interwoven into the story very very easily.

Hmmm, that is some high praise there. I know i won't like it more than Witcher since that series is my favorite fantasy series ever (read all the books before even playing the games) and I much prefer the medieval fantasy setting much more than future cyberpunk. I also wasn't a big fan of Cyberpunk overall as nothing in the story really stuck with me. It really felt like I was just playing to finish the game then playing because I enjoyed it. I would like to give the game a second chance though as i heard there was a big update that changed a lot like how you level up and stuff. I think I may the entire game a second play through when Phantom Liberty is 50% and give it a final judgment.

Played a bunch this weekend . Finished the heist with Jackie dying and finding out Johnny is hacked in my mind? Who actually died and is Johnny just showing up as a chip in my brain?
anyways it’s been pretty dam fun!
Tons of side missions I haven’t touched, confused on the weapon differences a bit also.
When do i get promoted from rookie?
Finished Phantom Liberty a few hours ago, did the 'Side with Reed' finale, and I think having ________ die in the end is overall the best ending of the expansion.
Doing this finale really sells the influence that the Blackwall AIs have over ________, and perhaps they influenced her from the expansion ever began because it really is disquieting how... evil _______ is in how ___ is almost completely indifferent about the dozens to hundreds of deaths related to the plane crashing at the beginning of PL, and the unnumbered deaths at the stadium at the end during the escape.
The Blackwall is the equivelent of dark magic in fantasy, and I hope it has a presence in the sequel. Its low-key the most interesting antagonistic force in the Cyberpunk franchise. It'd be interesting if they expand upon it, while always leaving more new questions about it than answers.
By the way, IMHO the three best weapons to have equipt at all times are :
-Erebus SMG
Its basically the only SMG in the game that is basically an automatic shotgun with a 50-round magazine that fires as fast as a SMG, and it instantly kills enemies under 1/3 health.
I completely missed the Erebus the first time playing through the 'Side with Reed' finale and I can now testify its one of the absolute best weapons in the game, and its the most evil weapon in the game.
For those that haven't picked it up, you're missing out.
Erebus is an Iconic Power Submachine Gun in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. The Erebus is an experimental prototype weapon designed by Militech for Project Cynosure. It is implied that while the SMG was originally manufactured by Midnight Arms, its AI capabilities were posterior modifications...

"Characteristics
The Erebus is a prototype weapon designed by Midnight Arms. It has a magazine size of 50 rounds, and a basic iron sight with red lights. Each of the Erebus's rounds splits off into 6 projectiles.
It also has a very ominous eye to the left of the iron sight that appears to be watching the user. This eye's appearance is very similar to the Project Cynosure core. The eye houses a Rogue AI from the Blackwall that periodically speaks to the user.
The Erebus has an iconic modifier that increases damage by 20%, but also increases weapon spread by 20%.
Erebus has a special ability that has a guaranteed chance to upload the Blackwall Gateway quickhack to normal enemies below 33% Health, instantly neutralizing them. It also has a 5% chance to upload the Cyberware Malfunction quickhack at any Health percentage (this is reduced to 1% against Bosses)."

Holy shit... something happened thats never happened in the four previous times playing through CP2077.
I got ambushed by Netwatch.
Was driving on a motorcycle and two SUVs pulled up behind me and started shooting.
They were netrunners dressed in black, and sunglasses, which is a change.
So I offed them, easily, and one of them had a shard that said.... basically the same as what is shown at the end if this video.
I've just completed Cyberpunk. Cleared all aside from the racing side missions (post-Claire) and Chippin In, because there is no way in hell that the engram was taking over.
Basically, I saved Songbird and went with the All Along the Watchtower ending, because, vagina. I also saved Songbird because of her vagina, even though I think that Reed was kinder to me. I also spoiled the ending with Reed. I should have shot Songbird in the back of the head but, vagina, pity and Jesus complex.
I finished with 20 Strength, 20 Tech, 3 Reflex, 20 Intelligence and the rest into Cool. Final loadout was The Order Tech Shotgun, a Thermal Rocket Launcher and my hacks. Smasher was quite tense but not much of a problem, as making medkits and grenades auto refill instead of picking them off the ground really changed Technical Ability for the better. I went with those red laser Grenades for the most part but changed to the Arm Launcher for the finale, though I think that I missed most of my shots, with Overheat doing most of the damage between Order shots.
Through updates, Technical Ability has gone from being the worst skill to the best. It's tech weapons and tankiness are awesome. Intelligence after that, as although using quick hacks blows your cover (which sucks), and contagion is no longer great, Short Circuit and Overheat are still strong offensively and recovery is faster. Strength is probably better than Intelligence but I found it to be boring. I did a lot of sneaking, but I got by with low Cool for much of the game, until I had points to spend. I didn't need Reflexes at all.
I'm unsure if I want to another run or not, but a Reflex/Cool build looks like a lot of fun. I'd also like to play around more with maxed out Intelligence and Smart Weapons. I'm not interested in Berserk, but I am interested in Sandevestan and Optical Camo.
I would have liked to have seen more from Mama Welles. I would have also liked to have seen certain characters be kept fresh by giving them more to say and do. I also would have liked more side activities unrelated to combat or story, such as mini-games. I'd have liked a bit more flexibility with stealth too. Having only one silenced sniper rifle in the game is a bit of a crime.
I'll give it a 9. It's just too grand to be given anything less, despite its flaws. Even when the game was bugged to hell on release, I felt that I was playing something special.
Well well, another big update coming out according to devs to celebrate their 4 year anniversary. They confirmed it won't be NG+ but said "it will be worth breaking your mods."
Hopefully it's for official mod support like they did with Witcher 3, that would be epic. Now that they are moving to Unreal, they need to open this engine up to the public. There's so much potential in and around Night City.
There's a CDPR stream tomorrow discussing it.
They also just posted this teaser, could mean more ops to run.
I've already played through CP2077 six times, so I guess I'll be seeing everything in the new update the next time I play it.... which will be right before the sequel comes out.
Unless they announce console mod support & New Game Plus.
