You have to wait for 2:30 before you can leave without a penalty, I think. Just browse Sherdog and you're good! :)

It's 90 seconds for your banner to expire but yeah, much longer if you don't get thirsted.

Some new bullshit I have been experiencing, as well as others I have been playing with in ranked/casual:

- first off, melee bug is still alive and well
- not being able to pick up guns or dropping the wrong gun when picking up a new one
- using gun X and switching to grenades, then switching back to guns and drawing Y. happens when holstering for running too
- not being able to shoot people in front of you, this isn't Fortnite
- kinda ties into the above, glitchy/laggy people skipping around and not being able to report them

Friend of mine just rage quit the game for the foreseeable future because of the above.

Game is fun when it works properly, win or lose.
 
Just ate a 90 minute(!) abandon penalty because my team picked up my banner but was making no effort in hitting a respawn beacon.

Thanks Respawn/EA, guess I'm going to join my friends with Call of Duty.

Just surf sherdog while they jack around so you won't get the penalty. Besides whatever points they get in ranked, you're getting them for free.

I've been trying to play this game a little more but never have a solid squad.

Played a match with Mirage for a challenge this morning. One dude broke off and dropped solo and died while we were still flying and started screaming that we should have come with him. He quit and I didn't care because he was way too far away to try to save.

Ran around for ten minutes finding dogshit loot before getting jumped by a full squad. I somehow fumbled and didn't get my Ult off and died.

And I have zero motivation to continue playing at the moment. Like I said previously, it's because I haven't been playing at all, but I'm a fucking bot right now. Hit a Caustic for 183 with one clip from the 301 and then died before I could escape or reload.

I keep making the mistake of playing with my buddy who no lifed his way into the 4k badge and I figured out that all he does is drop hot and hope to get a lucky match playing full aggro. It's not even fun. It's drop drop/die, drop/die, drop/die hoping that eventually it will be drop/make it out of the city with some kills, win the match.

So far we haven't made it out of the city.

I lost 1k ranked points like that with @HwoarangStyle and his buddy not long ago,i think i might have gotten 750 of those points back recently lol

Had a solid game with the Havoc today! I was playing Mirage (one of my faves), got a couple of kills. Final circle, final squad. An Octane and Bloodhound left. My son says "Pop your ult, drop down and flank them!" Boom! I knock the Bloodhound, I get dropped and my teammates are just chilling in the back.

They finally engage and finally drop the Octane, Win!

My son says "Everyone uses Mirage's ult to escape instead of advancing, flanking, and taking them down."

My headphones broke. I taped them back up but they sat quite loose.

So now I secure them with a physio band, and I look completely cool.

We weren't playing ranked, but it's still super frustrating to play that way. My style is fairly aggressive, but I prefer to land safely and get some loot. I can't understand how people have fun landing with 5-6 other squads and lucking into being the last team standing. But the guy I was talking about plays for probably 12 hours a day. He's on every day from 11-12 to 8, goes to work, and gets back on from 3-4am and plays until 8. He gets 3-4 hours of sleep a night, and every other minute of his day is working or playing Apex.

He's really good, too. Didn't used to be, but putting in that many hours better mean improvement. But even the best players can't consistently win those super hot drops.

On the rare occasion that I play Mirage, that's the only way I use his Ult. You can get behind players and it's pretty much a guaranteed drop against a guy with his back to you. Gives your team a chance to push when the remaining enemy team focuses on you.
