After our bad run of Duos, I had to get back in the saddle @Mohawk Mauler

Trying to learn from the Sherdog squad! :)

Nice!

How is someone going to earn ranking points by ditching their team mates in a fire fight then running and hiding until they get some for placing in the top ten?

Because the ranked system is fucking retarded.

I get that the main objective is to be the last team surviving, but it only works as a team game if players play as a team. And knowing that's not how it works 99% of the time, other stats should be considered.

Now I'm not trying to start any stuff, but if they award the other stats, wouldn't that just incentivize people to go Rambo more often?

You are right though, the points system does need another look-over.

You're probably right, that adding more points categories probably incentivizes solo-play behavior, but so many people already play like that. I don't know how to fix it. Maybe develop a real MMR system. The points system is just silly and forces a grind instead of placing players where they belong. If I jump in right now, I'm Bronze. I could probably do fairly well in most matches all the way up to Gold, but I don't want to do that. It would take a few dozen matches to grind my way up to a competitive level. Maybe more? If I had a team with the same general skill level and play style, it would be faster. But randoms are the great equalizer.

I don't know how to fix it but I've barely been playing lately at all.

I got on yesterday for a little while. I slept wrong and my neck was jacked all day.

Stop sleeping on your neck, dork!

my second best game dmg wise i believe. the flatline is easily my favorite automatic weapon, it absolutely shreds i love it. i also smoked like 3 people with the kraber. it pisses me off that i can never ever find one anymore. when i first started this game id get a kraber all the god damn time. now all i find are L-Stars <31>

Yeah, I've completely flipped my previous ill opinion of the Flatline. It's one of my preferred weapons now.

I'm gonna give Titanfall 2 a shot!

There's a lot going on here, but I forced the titan pilot to eject and I hit the Titan with a Gravity Star. That trapped him in his own explosion!

If you need any tips, holler at ya' boy! :)

Very nice! Right now I'm just doing private matches, and honestly just trying to get a better handle on the grapple to up my Pathfinder game <Lmaoo>

Playing some matches and not really playing for so long has turned me into a bot. I can't win a gunfight to save my life.

I decided to give ranked another go and ended up with a leave penalty after me and another team mate got finished and the third just ran away and kept looting.

The leaving penalty is bullshit. I understand that it is meant to deter people from leaving games as soon as they get dropped, but it's super unfair for situations in which team mates are not at all trying to grab your banner.
