Official Apex Legends Discussion w/ Gamertag List

My friend got into Diamond and now when we queue we are seeing Apex Predators as the Champion Squad. Shit is scary.

I'm Platinum 1 and about half way through it, so pretty close to Diamond as well. But it's hard af now to gain RP playing with these Mountain Dew fueled raging nerd pros.

i was playing with a diamond player last night and playing against predators. sweaty mfers bro, but man i was melting people too. you can see the difference in movement and the smarter plays. i think if i could keep playing in those lobbies my skills could elevate to that level. i just dont have time to grind like these sweaty teenagers an shit. was beaming people with the wingman last night, dropping fuckers with headshots. i felt like a bad motherfucker :meow:

The charge rifle has been nerfed and it's still too powerful.

Honestly, whoever thought it would be a good idea to add a hitscan weapon to this game should be castrated. It's so fucking stupid.

I had a notification last night that said the game now had Duos but it isn't live yet.

Played some games last night, quit playing when the melee bug shit started happening.

Played some ranked games this morning, no issues. Shredding people and all that, losing but having fun. Get in a game in which one teammate doesn't want to engage, and honestly may not be that good as I was watching them "aim" after I go down and when that didn't work out they retreat and hide. Other active teammate is going down. Timid teammate isn't making any effort, so I bail and get a FORTY FOUR MINUTE LEAVER PENALTY.

If someone isn't making any effort to grab banners or raise teammates while holding banners, why should people be held hostage? Play time is limited right now.

Yeah, you can't bail on ranked now. If they can still get your banner you just have to ride it out.

That’s terrible. People can troll or stroll by grabbing your banner and not rezzing.
 
So against my better judgement I bought two event packs.

No legendary. Got the event 'epic' EVA-8 skin and the Nessie charm <45> :mad:

Just hear to complain about how bad the Ranked system is. Played 1 ranked match today, in Bronze because I wanted to attempt to climb.

Finished 7th place. Had 2 kills and 1300 damage.

Had a team mate with 5 kills and 600 damage.

That guy got more RP than me. Stealing kills is apparently an art form that you should adhere to to level up in Ranked. Holy shit.

Really does come down to luck of the draw with randos IMO.

I mainly play ranked. Some folk out there are good team players, comrade.
