Official Apex Legends Discussion w/ Gamertag List

It did hit 10 000 000 players in a matter of hours so this give you a hint of how good of a game it is, I only want more content and maps.

LMG is op, peacemaker too, love those. There's a heavy revolver that I loved as well.

Loving getting into the where to spawn dynamic, I think I prefer getting into it soon rather than going where no one is and running about for 12 minutes first.

I never played any of battle royal games so I decided to try this one. I deleted it after 20 minutes, not my cup of tea.

So yea I'm pretty much addicted to this game. I was having a blast with RE2 and I've just dropped that completely. I hate dropping single player games like that I would have waited to start this game if I knew I was going to like it so much

Got another W yesterday and it was fun as hell. Our squad member died 2 mins in. My cousin got downed 2 mins in, I saved him, revived him, and we went on to win the game. We did nothing but straight up rush people. I've realized now that's the best approach to this game is to just rush people hard. I smoke and my cousin runs in with blood hound and I come in right behind him. Trying to fight from to far out isn't worth it even with a sniper gun. To close is ok but everyone seems to have a peace keeper now and it's always 50/50 for me in that situation.
 
As much as the reviews praise the UI and inventory system (and rightly so), that's still what took me the longest to understand sufficiently. I'm sure there are still a couple of finer points I'm not grasping, but once I understood the ammo/gun pairings and realised the inventory marks items you're carrying that are of no use for your current weapons it became much easier.

I like to call in mortar strikes on my own position then pop the shield dome with Gibraltar. Enemies either have to retreat, rush into the dome and get blasted, or get nailed by mortars. :)

This is what I was doing when I first started. That big dudes hit box is just way to big though so I stopped playing him.

He's the only median tier character that brings value to a squad throughout a game. His ult and defensive barrier make him viable to a degree. Wraith and Pathfinder promotes solo aggressive play with Caustic being the counter to those camping buildings. Im still trying to find any value in Mirage.
 
My sons sneakily downloaded this on my system, so might as well give it a go. Not into BR, but Titanfall 2 is my favorite of the last few years, so I owe it to Respawn to at least give it a go.

I used to feel he brought value to the team also but he actually gets in my way now. They need to change his shield to make him more viable. I should be able to shoot through it and the enemy shouldn't then he would be great. His Ult shouldn't be able to hit me but it can so once again it gets in my way.

I just prefer to run at people full speed. Throw my smoke and let my cousin run in with bloodhounds ult. It's been working amazingly well. We only have trouble when another team comes up in the middle of fighting or we get sandwiched between two teams. I actually prefer pathfinder because of his ability to get the upper ground on people which is very useful with the way me and my cousin play. Having someone come from up top is great. The healer is also great but I notice people are real shitty about healing with her or using her heals at the right time. They also don't pick up the ultimate accelerator to use her ults quickly which annoys me.

That would be massively broken. Watch Grimmz for he mains him. He'll show you how to use that shield of his.

I'm going to check it out as I do want to use him as a second character if my main gets picked. As it is though Bloodhound + Bangalore is just to good of a combo for me and my cousin to even think about switching.

I'm the exact same, i was loving Resi then as soon as i started playing Apex it has been dropped except for a couple of hours because i knew i was near the end of Leon A.

I'm having so much fun with it. It's easily the best BR game imo. I can't remember the last online multiplayer game i enjoyed as much as this. Trying to convince my friends to try it, only had an hour on it with a friend and the other has downloaded it but not played yet.

It's annoying getting hit with shitty randoms that fuck about and wander off alone but on the other hand it's great getting like-minded helpful players in matches that you click with straight away. obviously that is harder to come by though.
 
Got my first win as bloodhound, sound whoring is great in this game. Surround sound is a must.
