Can I just ask what the "All Round Fighting" Round entails???

I was watching Pride the other day and remember when everything was answered by the Bas Rutten big book of combat, I almost bought it at one point!!

Basically, he calls out combos that you throw similar to the thai boxing cd, but he also calls out A LOT of sprawls. In addition to that, he has you stay down for about 15 seconds where you do this other drill that I can't really describe - it's what's shown in this video from 19 seconds to 25 seconds (YouTube - Sakuraba work out). Besides that, he calls out pushups for about 5-10 seconds on the 3 minute rounds. It's basically a shitload of sprawls.
 
Thanks X. This whole cut has been pretty interesting. I'm a bit disappointed in my strength drops. I thought I'd be able to maintain strength, but I guess that was overreaching. I never thought my conditioning would be where it is right now though. I don't know if I'll ever top the 50 burpee time and my 5k time. I'm doing the 100 burpee challenge on Monday, so we'll see how that ends up.


Yesterday was a day off. I was going to do a timed mile but it started raining. My body felt a little beat up so rest was in order.

*This is the first time I did all of the BW squats in a row without a break. I think it's 150-200 in a row. Since the speed is fast at some points, I'm fairly sure depth was questionable on about 25% of them.

Yesterday was an unplanned day off. I went to my nephew's first baseball/tee ball game and it lasted much longer than expected. I was sore anyways, so I decided to rest and hit the sack early. Bodyweight is 162.6 lbs right now.

*I'm really not that pleased with the mile time. My 5k time was at a pace not much slower than that. I've noticed in other conditioning challenges that I'm really not that fast, but I can maintain my fast pace for a long time. I never really do sprints and most of my timed runs are 1.75 miles or more, so it makes sense.

I believe it is the image that shows as having violated photobuckets policies. It was basically two hot chicks making out with one slighty raising the others skirt. I actaully did assume that it was a skin toned underwear as it was sourced from a non-porn site.
 
Weird - a 19:05 5K is 6:09-6:10 for 3.1 miles, I think. Great job in here, nonetheless!
