Obesity by State

Yeah, low immigration states like the Dakotas and West Virginia are doing great.

"The immigrants mess everything up" is just a reflex to you guys, isn't it? Pretty soon, bad weather will be the immigrants' fault.
lmao, you still believe in that grift cult, wake me up when beach side property drops in value.

I mean those southern states also produce fatties who run sub 5 second 40's.

In places like California and Colorado there's a lot of recreational physical activities to do outside. I'm in a 40% state and our weather is terrible 80% of the year. It's either extremely humid and hot or super cold. The local government doesn't help either. Our parks are terrible. Local businesses? Yeah why would they setup shop in a place where physical activity isn't popularized enough to make money

Now it's becoming worse because of the internet.

7/12 co workers in my department are over weight. We are talking 300 lb+ club

Uhh, North Dakota is doing great.

That's 2022. You need to tack on at least another 5% per state by now...

And the rough news is that the states with the lowest obesity rates are the ones with the highest per capita homeless populations, so they seem to just have more people smoking crack and shooting heroin instead of eating crap.
Cities, and especially coastal cities, tend to attract people because they are perceived to provide more opportunities.

Obesity is an epidemic in most first world countries.

Well yes, if you take into account how good the food in the South is compared to everywhere else it makes sense.

I live in the south and people say this but I've always found food to taste better up north or in the west. The only food I legit think is the best in the south is BBQ. Also, it always throws me for a loop when I travel out of the south and realize how bad iced tea is in other regions.

So the Southern states are doing the worst on this too.

The funny thing to me about the south is this isn't surprising. There are states for years that are the in the top 10 in some of the worst statistical categories in America. When was the last time you heard states like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia or Louisiana ranking high in anything of value?

map is probably BS taking into account that BMI measurement where anyone having a shred of muscle on is auto included in the overweight category. 40% of the people in a state aren't obese, come on.

i can vouch for colorado. they have some hot-ass women there, and some fine asses that's for sure. i'm normally not this raunchy, but it's worth it in this case lol.

That's very true about the southern states but California is doing VERY badly too these days.

I bet that map corresponds very closely to Walmart per capita by state

Edit: it actually does!

I always see the fattest people inside a Walmart. Geographic area not withstanding
