Eric Adams somehow has become New Yorkers' best option.

Why do you suppose people are saying "oh hell yeah" in other countries, but not our own? You consistently seem to forget that we do already have public versions of all these things, we have public housing, public transportation, and we have medicaid, and they are all horrible.every single human being that lives outside of america lol only they probably don't say "hell yeah" because they've had it their whole life
Everyone, libs and cons, talking about "free this", "free that", "omg taxing people with tons of money1!!!11! NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!!111!
This lady breaks down how a fucking progressive tax system works. TL;DW: Everyone is crying over the wealthiest people being taxed like 20k extra for every million they make after the first million. Raising the corporate tax rate will bring it on par with New Jersey.

literally all of those things are incredible, despite being underfunded. it's why we need more of it. frankly, we don't even need medicaid, we need full-on socialized health care. socialized health insurance means jack shit when our doctors charge 10-20x what doctors in socialized systems do.Why do you suppose people are saying "oh hell yeah" in other countries, but not our own? You consistently seem to forget that we do already have public versions of all these things, we have public housing, public transportation, and we have medicaid, and they are all horrible.
we're even lower than canada regarding our view on quality at 44%, and MUCH lower on quality of coverage at 28%. only 19% are satisfied with the cost of healthcare. 54% aka the majority say our system has major problems.I mean you were wrong in the first place, the public satisfaction for the NHS is at like 21%, and Canada is also less than half with the majority wanting more private choices.

NHS public satisfaction hits record low
A fifth happy with NHS in Britain, finds long-running poll, with waits and staffing of major concern.www.bbc.com
Survey reveals 48% of Canadians are satisfied with provincial healthcare system
Canadians’ opinions about their provincial healthcare systems didn’t improve in 2024 compared to last year. As in 2023, the Ipsos poll found less than half are satisfied with their provincial healthcare system, with only 8% saying they’re very satisfied. Atlantic Canada residents are less...nbhc.ca

ah yes, san francisco is not only, famously, a shithole but it's somehow a shithole because of rent freezes, free transportation, and child care. amazing. And none of this has anything to do with the mayor of NYC anyway. A mayor doesn't have the ability to offer "free healthcare", we're talking about him wanting to implement basically every policy that has turned San Francisco into a shithole.
Eric Adams somehow has become New Yorkers' best option.

lol the Democrat Party coming up with Mamdani and Cuomo as their Mayoral Candidates.
I'd be pissed too if I was a Democrat
NY and CA are commie socialist hell holes and everyone is leaving!literally all of those things are incredible, despite being underfunded. it's why we need more of it. frankly, we don't even need medicaid, we need full-on socialized health care. socialized health insurance means jack shit when our doctors charge 10-20x what doctors in socialized systems do.

View of U.S. Healthcare Quality Declines to 24-Year Low
Americans' positive rating of the quality of healthcare in the U.S. has fallen to its lowest point in Gallup's trend dating back to 2001.news.gallup.com
so when we aren't even reaching canada's level when it comes to satisfaction with QUALITY, what's the fucking point of letting the medical industry charge as much as they do? compared to the US, many more there are satisfied.

You keep calling him antisemitic but what had he said or done that makes you so certain he's antisemitic?Promises of "Free" won. NY will be a Utopia.
It's interesting to watch the Democrats go further and further down the anti-Semitic road.
So, how does this help the problem NYC disporia problem. 125k residents leaving at a rate of 14 billion dollars in lost revenue?

It’s NYC not a national election. That’s one of the few places a socialist will win. And I’m glad he won.BTW, I've been hearing that dems moving left is killing the party and will kill it unless they move right, particularly by cons
So unknown dude runs on literally everything that's supposedly unpopular and wins a massive upset against an established dude with massive financial backing. Some of you are even dumb to post dems wildly low approval ratings on top of that while saying they should do more of what they've been doing that has gotten them in the shitter
Lmao
biden ran on health care reform, raising taxes on the rich, diversity & trans rights, and rooting out police brutality and got the most votes in history. obama ran on a lot of the same things as well. those are populist policies that will always win elections. It’s NYC not a national election.

Its always a pick between a shit lib and a radical.I dunno wtf they were thinking with Cuomo. JFC, they’re living up to that donkey icon
this is true. and they did it twice.Bernie ran on that and more calling himself a,socialist on the national stage and it took the entire democratic establishment coalescing to stop him
if AOC wasn't so cringe and lib-ish, even she could have a chance on the national stage.Him and aoc have been filling bigger arenas meow than when he ran
well that much is absolutely true, you're not wrong there. but they lied and acted like they were.None of them are socialists despite republicans at the time trying to paint Obama as one
I’m just skeptical that a socialist could win a national election for president. If anybody could it would’ve been Bernie in 2016, but that ship had sailed.well that much is absolutely true, you're not wrong there. but they lied and acted like they were.
