TNA contract signing - It's a contract signing, you know how this goes. Joe is probably standing tall at the end of it, but who really knows what direction TNA is going here. I still think it's cool that the TNA championship is being featured on an NXT PLE.
Je'Von vs Troy - Troy has shown he can hang with Oba, Je'Von has shown he can hang with Oba. I'm scratching my head here because it feels like neither guy should be taking a loss here, but I don't see this ending in a DQ or count out. I think Troy is the guy they may want to eventually dethrone the Ruler (sorry, spoiler alert for later), and Je'Von is they guy who is destined to beat Page for the NA title (shit, did it again). This could be a damn good match and I see it as a coin flip. Pick Troy since a loss doesn't hurt Je'Von all that much.
Sol vs Izzy Women's NA championship - Izzy is in the battle royal tomorrow, Sol is in the women's tag championship match. We still don't have the inevitable breakup of ZaRuca (although we never got the teased break up of fraxiom (or A-Town DownUnder)). I imagine Tatum and Zaria get involved at some point. Sol wins and more tension is created between here and Zaria.
Fatal Influence vs Monroe and Grace - This is Monroe's first NXT PLE (and match for NXT), need I say more? I expect more dissent within Fatal Influence, possibly even a breakup for the group leading to Jacy losing the title tomorrow (well damn, that's 3 spoilers). Grace and Monroe win.
Page vs Saints NA championship falls count anywhere - Everyone here knows I'm not a big fan of Saints, but the previous two matches between him and Page have been really good, and I think we go 3 for 3 here. This should be match of the PLE. I'm thinking that whoever loses this gets called up after Summer Slam or maybe even sooner. That alone makes this a more difficult read on what is going to happen. Rumor is that Page is going to be the 4th man in Seth's group. I don't hate it, but I really think there is more to be done with him and the Evolve guys in Vanity Project. The way Ricky was brought into NXT made you think he was going to be chasing the main title, but that' hasn't happened and I think he's stalled out. Spoiled it earlier, but Page wins with help from Vanity Project.
Oba vs Inamura - Let's be honest here, there is next to zero chance Oba loses this. It'll be two meaty men slapping meat, and that's about it. I do expect Briggs to get involved during or after the match and setting up a feud between him and Inamura. The men's division REALLY needs someone to step up and be a true threat to Oba. Maybe bring in someone from the MR who isn't in a program? Maybe we say his name??? - Oba wins.
I don't think this is a very strong PLE from NXT, which has been pretty rare recently. There are some fun matches for sure, but nothing really jumps out as a potential match of the weekend. I'll be surprised (pleasantly so) if this card ends up being better than a C/C+.
