- Flying there was a great choice, the 7-8 hour drive would have been rough
- Had to get my wife to overnight my squat suit, it was not packed
- Suits and shirt were all very loose meet day, felt like I did a raw with wraps squat
- Age DOTS was crazy for the M3 and M4s, I would have had to total 947.5 to win, 1st and 3rd got 135 and 158 added to their scores.
Squat: Warmups were good, stomach was OK. Did not realize it at the time but the plywood on the platform had either separated off of the sheet(s) below or shifted or something. Seems like I was situated on that seam and that made me lose balance on 1st and 3rd attempt. First attempt should have been a good lift, spoke to the ref that gave me a yellow the next day at the Open Pro Final and we reviewed it and I got the rack command before my foot moved out of the footprint. Take away is smaller steps out of the rack while in equipment, set up closer to the rack (similar to Rob Parisi), and always look down at foot placement. Ryan Gleason said my suit was "way too loose at the legs" and we all knew the straps were way too loose already. He helped us get the suit on right for the 2nd and 3rd attempts, and it fit better. Need to figure out how to get into the 42 at this weight.

1st Attempt - 282.5x, Red from side for depth (lol) and yellow on other side for moving my foot, cleared it up with ref next day, she didn't hear the rack command.
2nd Attempt - 297.5, not as easy as I would have liked, 3WL.
3rd Attempt - 302.5x, decided to just make a small jump, knowing we would have little chance of missing it, plus 666 with Geno at the Arnold is a big deal. Lost balance again, blaming the platform, don't care if I sound like a whiney bitch either.
Bench Press: Shirt was too loose. Original plan was wear the 52 and hit 217.5, then switch to the 50 for attempts 2 and 3. In the 50, I was able to touch 200 in the back, had trouble touching 222.5 in weeks prior. Raw warmups felt heavy, we were going to drop the opener, but decided not to. Went with the flats again because the heels were slipping on the carpet, was able to get heels down without issue.

1st Attempt - 217.5, Felt OK. My only threat at M1 had bombed out on squat, so didn't want to chance the butt coming up.
2nd Attempt - 222.5, Got a blue from the head judge, should have been a no lift to be honest, up and down clearly occurred on the replay.
3rd Attempt - Pass
Deadlift: Knew that deadlift would be back around 300 after the last 2 warmups. Since the DOTS scoring for the M3 & M4 guys was so absurd, I had 0 chance at first and the $1000 bucks for winning the overall finale, so we were pretty set on 666 no matter what, could have loaded 305 to eek into second, but didn't really care (that lifter should have bombed out, they passed 2 of his squats that were at best half squats, looked like old WPO backyard bullshit).

1st Attempt - 265, felt insanely fast, lost song/ammonia momentum after I had to get the bar replaced upon stepping on that busted part
2nd Attempt - 290, probably should have called 285 or 287.5, but 265 moved so fast. Still got it relatively easily
3rd Attempt - 302.5, pretty much top end for the day, again had to get the bar moved, super cool to close out the inaugural Masters Pro Series Final with a 666 in front of Geno
