Squat: 44 is the right size suit. We will upgrade to a super centurion for the Arnold and we will upgrade to the new Gold Titan wraps also. Slightly narrower stance is the way to go, slightly higher rack height makes walkout and unrack easier. Will dabble with higher bar position and heels early in prep to decide whether or not we should stay in flats with a super low position.

Attempt 1 - 270x
Should have been ruled a good lift. Absolutely 0 reason for a head ref to red card that squat. Side (left hip was acceptable since I have the weird ankle hip thing). Perfect choice for an opener, initially wanted 275.

Attempt 2 - 270
Bill should have called for 277.5 - 282.5 based on the depth and speed of the 270, was unaware that he did not go up. 280 would have been the correct call, to give me an opportunity to load 300 for a squat gold and a 12.5kg lead over Garcia. We planned on loading 270, 290, 300-307.5 for the day.

Attempt 3 - 292.5
Easy enough, room for more, super deep. Wilson's best wrap job of the day for sure.

Bench Press: Terrible execution. Happy we went down from our initial 217.5 opener. With the weight loss I was not able to use the shirt properly, it was way too loose, the 52 felt like a 54. Will use Wilson's 50 Super Katana in early stages of Arnold Prep. Planned for 212.5, 220-225, 227.5 or 230.

Attempt 1 - 212.5x
Was nervous about shirt not working properly so exaugurated my already violent leg drive, but came up like 2 inches at least, 100% my fault terrible execution.

Attempt 2 - 212.5x
Same thing basically, butt came up for a fraction of a second, and could barley be seen, judge that lit me wasn't actually in position to see it, got blue for elbow. Hopefully the elbow will get full ROM at some point.

Attempt 3 - 212.5
Minimal leg drive, 3 whites.

Deadlift: Warm ups were flying, so decided to go 265 instead of 260, so we could exceed 300 if we needed to. Pretty sure my limit was 302.5 or less and was right. Original plan was 260, 282.5, then take what was needed for gold overall or medal up in deadlift. Going to give a Velocity a try again, some other lifters mentioned wearing them backwards helped getting into position better, which is my issue.

Attempt 1 - 265
Easy, thought 282.5 or more would have been good.

Attempt 2 - 287.5
Bill liked 287.5 to get a bit of a lead, was 100% on board, gripped bar incorrectly. Right hand was too narrow left hand was too far out, needed to do the opposite. Right hand needs to be wider for sure.

Attempt 3 - 307.5x
Originally put in 305. I said I wasn't sure I could hit that, I wanted to pad the lead with 292.5, 295 or 297.5. Was 100% sure 295 would be there, and pretty sure 297.5 would be there, that would have been gold for deadlift and would have given me 802.5, which is what I wanted after the bench mishaps, in order to out total Jason Johnson. Bill called 307.5 in an absolute shocker, I was game for whatever, put up a really good fight considering, no lift.

Great day. I watched the last DL vid twice just incase you got it the 2nd time ! Right there

Haha...considering I couldn't quite lock out 285 in training this prep I was absolutely shocked I got that (bad call) pull to where it went.

I miss those days of wrestling

Thanks guys! I plan on making these lifts look like chump change at the Arnold in March.
